Meghan Markle is no longer a working royal like the Cambridges, but that doesn’t mean she’s idling in California. The actress has been discreetly working behind the scenes on a number of initiatives, one of which is on the significance of voting. Meghan was recorded in an Instagram teaser video conversing with Gloria Steinem on representation and “how all women are linked, not ranked.”

The Duchess of Sussex embraced her laid-back California attitude in a casual outfit for the “historic backyard chat.”

The Duchess of Sussex looked composed and at ease, clad in a basic white T-shirt Anine Bing Ryan striped herringbone-jacquard straight-leg pants while reclining on a wooden deck chair in a garden.

Steinem, on the other hand, kept it simple in all black. Meghan has embraced more laid-back Cali vibes in her clothes since returning to the West Coast, instead of wearing royally sanctioned fitting dresses and pants.

Meghan raved about meeting Steinhem and said it was a “pretty great day” at the start of the conversation.
