Keira Knightley refuses to strip off for nude scenes now that she is a mother of two.

Although she claims to be “comfortable” with her body, the actress says she no longer wants to perform nude scenes and would rather have a body double.

Knightley talked candidly about how becoming a mother has altered her perspective on the types of roles she feels comfortable playing on screen in an interview with the Financial Times.

“The nipples droop,” she joked.

“I’m really happy with my body. It’s done an amazing thing. But I also don’t want to stand there in front of a whole film crew.”

“That was a choice [not doing any more nude scenes]. I get to choose the body double

“It is an interesting selection process! It kind of goes like, ‘That’s a little bit like you, but better.

“She has a lovely body, so she can do this’… then I get final approval of what the edit is.”

She added, “I have been comfortable earlier with more nudity than I am now. I have had a kid, I am in my thirties, I am very happy with my body.”

Knightley has stripped down for roles in the past.  She did, however, imply that current sex scenes are a little naughtier than the ones she has previously done, such as when the actress went topless for the 2008 film “The Edge of Love.”

“I’ve never done a scene where I felt, ‘Whoa, that went too far,’” she said.

The mother of two claims that by including a no-nudity clause in her contract, she now has “complete control” over the sex scenes in which she participates.

Keira continued, expressing her worry that certain racy scenes are now posted to prn websites.

She said: “It used to be that you’d do a sex scene in isolation with the film, and it would make sense.

“And maybe a paper would put it somewhere but, ultimately, that would be it.

“But now, you can take the whole thing and put it in a completely different thing, and it’s on some prn site.”

In 2011, the British actress told Jonathon Ross that her nude policy was restricted to the top half only.

“I say, ‘You can have the top half but you can’t have the bottom half’, and it kind of works quite well,” she revealed, referencing her strip-tease scene in Domino.

According to Fox News, Knightley will star in “Misbehaviour,” a film which highlights a group of women who want to disrupt the 1970 Miss World beauty competition in 1979.

With her husband James Righton, the actress has two daughters: Delilah, who was born last year, and Edie, who is four.

She’s not the only famous person who has recently spoken out about how she feels after having kids.

Chrissy Teigen recently admitted that, after becoming a mother, she was “hesitant” to get her breast implants removed.

She told Glamour, “If I could do one thing, it would be to have a lift. I think you’re supposed to replace [implants] every 10 years. But when you have kids you think about [the risks] of surgery and I think, ‘This is not the way I want to die, in boob surgery.’”
