Reaching the age of 70 is a huge accomplishment for anyone, but it’s much more remarkable when you’ll one day become King. Prince Charles’ 70th birthday was celebrated early in 2018 with a garden picnic.

Fans sought to pinpoint precisely what happened when one royal author made a daring argument about Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex causing a stir at Prince Charles’ birthday garden party. When a video from the event surfaced, fans assumed the Sussexes had been ordered to leave due to Meghan’s actions, but a lip-reading expert refuted those allegations.

In recent social media messages, Meghan Markle’s fans have said that video from 2018 shows the Duchess was escorted out of Prince Charles’ 70th birthday bash.

According to Lady Colin Campbell, Meghan Markle’s relationship with the Royal Family began to display ‘warning’ signs just four days after she married Prince Harry.

Ms. Meghan, according to Campbell, was the subject of conversation at a dinner hosted at her home in Castle Goring, Worthing, Sussex, a few days later.

A few days after the garden party, Lady C allegedly learned of this detail. She dined with one of the guests in attendance. Meghan allegedly shook hands with people before turning to Harry and supposedly saying the following:

“Harry, this is really boring. Let’s leave.”

Lady Colin Campbell says Meghan’s feud with the royal family began at Prince Charles’ 70th birthday garden party in her latest book Meghan and Harry: The Real Story.

The party took place three days after Meghan and Harry’s wedding, on May 22, 2018.

The 70-year-old told the Daily Star that Meghan did something at Prince Charles’ 70th birthday that ‘astonished’ an attendee with ‘impeccable palace connections.’

“We were all absolutely gobsmacked and astonished, we all thought this doesn’t bode well,” Campbell said of her party’s reaction to Meghan’s behavior.

She went on to say that the guests at the party were hoping the info was “wrong” at the time, but she later clarified that “of course it was accurate.”

A video from the garden party sparked debate among royal enthusiasts, who thought Prince Charles had ordered Prince Harry to leave, and many speculated that Meghan’s behaviour was to blame for their ejection.

Everything else that occurred has also been the subject of debate. Meghan is said to have received presents intended for her father-in-law and mistook them for her. First and foremost, who does that? Was she also unaware that the celebration was for Prince Charles and that she was just invited as a guest because she married his son? Whatever occurred was just the start of the Sussexes’ downfall.

On June 15, @Murky Meg retweeted a video of Meghan and Harry walking away from the other garden party guests, captioning it, “Here is the video where Charles seems to tell Harry it’s time to leave.”

However, Campbell went on to state that the royals have put a “tremendous amount of hope” in Meghan and that “virtually everybody” she knows is cheering for her.

“It quickly became apparent the ride may not be as smooth as everybody had hoped it would be,” she concluded.

One Twitter user explained the video in 2019, saying, “Remember the garden party held in honor of Charles’ 70th? And #themarkles were asked to leave 40 min in because of Meghan’s behavior? They were escorted out along with their entourage. M was not happy!”

“It was for his Dad’s 70th birthday,” one account replied to the video.

“They should have stayed there until the end.”

Given Campbell’s enigmatic suggestion that something happened at the garden party, theories began to circulate, with one fan speculating that Meghan was “bored.”

Another speculated that the Sussexes’ employees had been “briefed to be ready” for departure so they were “already lined up to leave with them.”

According to Lady C, who spoke to the Daily Star Online, “I knew the tremendous amount of hope the Royal Family invested in Meghan being a success.

“Hundreds of millions of people of colour were rooting for Meghan, I was rooting for Meghan, being a Jamaican, I was emotionally invested in Meghan’s success.
