Meghan Markle Forgets The Price Tag On Her Dress On A Royal Visit

Meghan Markle was seen with the price tag still dangling from her garment, which was a stunning fashion faux pas.

The Sussexes landed in Tonga on Thursday, October 25, after completing off their formal tour in Fiji. Fans noticed Megan strolling in the red Self Portrait dress with the tag dangling as they exited the charter jet.

Meghan’s vivid red dress, which matches the Tongan flag’s colors, costs $444, according to the Daily Mail. She accessorized with black stilettos and a handbag that matched.

It wasn’t obvious at first whether the label tag or the price tag was the culprit. Later, it was discovered that the dangling price tag was indeed a price tag.

The photo went viral very after, but people seem to enjoy what happened since it’s so real.

As one Twitter user put it, “Staff should have noticed that tag. Poor Meghan would probably be embarrassed if she saw the coverage, and it’s a shame because she looked beautiful!”

Another person commented, “Please Emily tell Meghan tag left on bottom if red dress. Goodness me..”

“I wish not cutting a price tag off my clothes was the most mortifying thing I have ever done. #MeganMarkle #royaltyshame.”

Another person joked, “And they have landed in 🇹🇴 Meghan looks radiant in that red dress despite news of the tag still hanging from the dress🤣.”

“More colour!! An excellent red on Meghan, by Self Portrait (modified from maxi to midi) and another outing for the navy Manolos. I like the pleats. Not a word about the tag!” added another.

On day 10 of their 16-day trip of Australia, Fiji, Tonga, and New Zealand, the royal couple is in Australia. They’ll return to Sydney for the Invictus Games’ closing days before traveling home on Friday via New Zealand.
