“Fifty Shades of Grey” actress Dakota Johnson claims that she used a derriere double for a graphic sequence in which her co-star Jamie Dornan had to spank her.

The 25-year-old actress had a b_tt double after deciding she was not interested in the discomfort of having a belt hit her bottom.

Speaking to Daily Star, the actress—who has filmed several s=x scenes for the drama—opened up about the “punishment” scene, according to dailymail.co.uk.

“There was a close up of a bum getting hit with a belt. That was not my bum, because I didn’t want to get hit with a belt,” Dakota said to the Daily Star.

We now know that Jamie Dornan got to spank the rear of another lady in the movie.

I don’t blame Dakota one bit. The tie me up parts are fine. Lip biting is enjoyable in moderation. but what about belt spankings? That causes a long-lasting pain. She would also get markings on her behind.

What a weird day that must have been to shoot. Ana being dominated by Christian, and then CUT! B_tt double steps in! As Jamie assumes the role of Christian with a belt in hand, Dakota’s stand-in *ss moves into position. Whipping starts! And then CUT!

The 25-year-old plays Anastasia Steele in the “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie adaption of the E.L. James book.

We are surprised by this considering she accepted the kinky role of Ana, but we think it’s good that she acknowledged using a butt double in the sensual scene. It’s also not like we won’t get to see some very hot flesh from her in the movie, both on and off screen!

Although she had a lot of options, Dakota said that the climactic s=x scene in the movie when Ana loses her virginity to Christian is her favorite.

‘The virginity scene I think is something that is so beautiful,”  she told Access Hollywood. “And the way that [cinematographer] Seamus [McGarvey] and [director] Sam [Taylor-Johnson] shot that scene – it’s really incredible.”

“And the colors!” she adds. “It’s so saturated and then, just watching a really profound moment in a young girl’s life. I think that was pretty special to do.”

Like Raiders, Fifty Shades of Grey is a film where the action’s allure is made or broken by the stunts. To believe Christian and Anastasia’s relationship is to buy Dornan and Johnson in the Red Room, ties, floggers, and anything else in play. Fifty Shades of Grey hired stunt coordinator Melissa Stubbs, whose credits include The Last Samurai, the X-Men series, stunt-doubling for Angelina Jolie in Mr. and Mrs. Smith, the upcoming Terminator Genisys, and over 25 years of performing stunts for jobs big and small, to execute these physically and emotionally taxing sequences. Stubbs compared the s=x in Fifty Shades of Grey to a choreographed battle sequence that was entrenched in the performers’ heads when speaking to Esquire from Los Angeles.

“It was a lot of working with Sam Taylor-Johnson and the actors, getting to a place where [Jamie Dornan] could play dominant,” Stubbs said. “They wanted it to look realistic and keep it true to the book. So my purpose was helping the actors to get there without hurting them. My job description can be anything to a martial arts teacher to rolling a car. This was a completely different thing. It was about helping the actors getting to where they needed to go.”

Stubbs claimed that she and the Fifty Shades crew spent two weeks understanding what accessories their main character would keep in his house and assessing each item’s aesthetic attractiveness before devising a plan for Christian’s Red Room. Stubbs acted as Anastasia’s stand-in on a mock Red Room set, experimenting with different arrangements to see how they might appear on TV. The stuntwoman collaborated with a bondage tech adviser who gave the production instructions on the equipment, gadgets, and ropes used in routine practice. The simplest knots required a lot of work from Stubbs and the design team. She remarked, “We played with them, [finding] visual ideas for Sam,” she said. “If you look at Sam’s work as a visual artist and photographer, you’ll see interesting images of human art, physical art, of subjects hanging.”
