Dakota Johnson Says Waxing Hurt More Than Spanking During 50 Shades
Actress Dakota Johnson said the waxing to keep her hair-free for Fifty Shades of Grey was more painful than the intense s-x scenes.
According to the Daily Star UK, Dakota Johnson underwent extensive and challenging prep for her part as Anastasia Steele in the motion picture. She often had to be waxed in order to maintain her silky smooth appearance. “I was going to be n-k-d, so I wanted to look good. I did a lot of working out and had more waxing than any woman should have,” she stated.
The 25-year-old actress described a scene with her co-star Jamie Dornan in which Christian Grey hurls Steele on to a bed in the middle of one steamy session, but it actually took multiple takes.
She admitted: “There were painful moments. I got whiplash once, from Jamie throwing me on the bed.”
“But that was only because we did it over and over again.”

In addition to this interesting fact, Dakota recently revealed to Access Hollywood how she ensured that her physique would look fit and similar to an “active college student” for the cameras. She acknowledged that she required stamina and to be somewhat “athletic” to play such scenes. She ran and trained a lot as a result. She even used a trainer and exercised with Jamie Dornan. She also needed to eat well.
She said that despite the sequences being challenging, she was still able to finish them with the help of her co-star. She sometimes went home feeling “shell-shocked,” but she could swiftly recover while driving and after a large glass of wine.

The actors acknowledge that playing a bondage-obsessed businessman and his subservient sweetheart in the naughty film strained their professional abilities to the limit.
Johnson suffered whiplash following many takes of another scene in which Dornan was forced to throw her into a bed in the midst of a romp.
Johnson, who says her male co-star was always eager to save her blushes as soon as the cameras stopped rolling, has praised her male co-star for his gallantry on set.
She tells Glamour , “Jamie would be the first one to throw a blanket over me. And he did a lot of studying, just to make sure that I was as safe as possible. But there were some painful moments. I got whiplash once, from him throwing me on to the bed. But that was only because we did it over and over and over again.”
Dornan continues, “I felt very protective and aware that it probably wasn’t easy for her to be put in those situations.”
