Prince Harry will be “regretful and embarrassed” after the Oprah interview, which has thrown the Royal Family into disarray.

The Duke of Sussex was reunited with his brother, Prince William at Prince Philip’s funeral earlier this month.

The Duke of Sussex, 36, and his wife Meghan Markle are currently residing in California.

He returned to the UK to say his last goodbyes to his grandfather, who died on April 9 at the age of 99.

Tensions have been high after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made numerous allegations against the royal family in an interview with Oprah Winfrey.

In the run-up to the royal wedding, Meghan said Kate Middleton caused her cry, while Harry claimed his brother was “trapped” in The Firm.

There were also claims that a member of the royal family was worried about the skin tone of Harry and Meghan’s unborn child.

The interview became a worldwide topic of discussion, prompting many to doubt whether the United Kingdom indeed needs a monarchy.

Kate and William were momentarily reunited with Harry at the funeral earlier this month.

According to one palace source, the Duke of Sussex may be regretting his participation now, a month since it aired in the US and UK. Duncan Larcombe, a royal author, claims Harry was unprepared to face his relatives on his return.

Mr. Larcombe told Closer magazine that Prince Harry returned to the United States “feeling more confused than ever.”
Mr. Larcombe told Closer magazine that Prince Harry returned to the United States “feeling more confused than ever.”
“I’ve heard Harry was feeling numb heading back to LA,” Larcombe told the U.K.’s Closer. “You could see in his face at the funeral that he was torn. He didn’t think he’d have to face his family so soon – and when he did, he had mixed emotions.”

Returning to London “reminded him of everything he’s sacrificed in recent years,” he said, adding that the interview had harmed his family ties, which is why he left the UK so soon after the funeral.

He went on to say that Harry, who he described as a “hot-headed guy” who frequently “acts on his emotions,” was “nostalgic for his old life” while his wife Meghan was planning their future.

Harry may have felt the notorious Oprah interview would be a good way to express his displeasure with the monarchy’s treatment of his wife, but after the explosive allegations, the tale took on a life of its own.

However, the analyst added, he felt likely “embarrassed” and “awkward” as he returned home.

Harry will “regret that interview” as well as his decision to leave the royal family, Duncan said.

As Harry struggles to balance his past role as a royal and his current life as a Hollywood insider, Larcombe believes it will be a “very difficult ride.” He’s now dealing with the “consequences” of speaking to Winfrey regarding private family affairs, but he did so out of love for his wife.
