No invitation to the King’s birthday parade for Prince Harry
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly not received an invitation to attend the King’s Birthday Parade next weekend.
This event marks the first time in Harry’s life that he has not been welcome at the monarch’s official birthday celebrations.
While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were expected to continue to be invited to family events, palace officials have confirmed that they will not be attending the parade.
A source has revealed that this is a reflection of the current state of relations between the couple and the Royal Family.
Since June of last year, Harry and Meghan have done much damage to their relationship with the family.

Their participation in a “docu-series” for Netflix led to a series of strongly disputed claims.
Harry’s highly controversial memoirs, Spare, also included intimate conversations with family members and lurid claims such as his alleged assault by Prince William.
Last year, the couple was invited by the late Queen to watch the Trooping the Colour ceremony from offices overlooking Horse Guards Parade.
However, they were not asked to be on the Buckingham Palace balcony for the official flypast later in the day.
The couple briefly larked around with the young children of Zara and Mike Tindall while photographers captured grainy shots through the window.
Harry was reportedly staying at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor this week while he gave evidence in his privacy case against Mirror Group Newspapers at the High Court in London.
However, he did not speak to his father or brother during his stay.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex refuse to communicate with the popular press.
It is worth noting that when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex quit royal duties three years ago, Queen Elizabeth said they would always be much-loved members of her family.
Yet, the couple’s recent controversies may have strained their relationship with the Royal Family.
The King’s Birthday Parade is a significant event this year as it is the first since Prince Charles succeeded to the throne last September.
The parade is a time for the Royal Family to come together to celebrate the monarch’s birthday with a display of military pageantry and fanfare.
It remains to be seen if the couple will receive any future invitations to family events.
Buckingham Palace officials declined to comment on the matter, and Harry and Meghan have not publicly addressed the reports.
However, it is clear that their recent actions have caused some tension between the couple and the Royal Family.
