Kate Winslet says n-de scenes are ‘profoundly bizarre’ and ‘unethical’

After swearing never to undress onscreen again, actress Kate Winslet has been dubbed the hypocrite of the decade.

The Oscar winner believes that flashing the body in front of a camera is “profoundly bizarre” and “unethical.” She has appeared completely n-ked in films such as “Titanic” and “Mildred Pierce.”

“I hate it! Listen, make no mistake, I just get on it,” Winslet told V Magazine. “I just go in and say, ‘Oh f**k let’s do it’, and boom. If you complain about it or procrastinate it’s not going to go away.”

“It’s a profoundly bizarre thing to do,” Winslet continued. “As actors you talk about it all the time. You can literally be tangled in sheets, and you turn to the other actor and say ‘What the f**k are we doing?’ Dear Mum, at work today I had so-and-so’s left nut sack pressed against my cheek.”

“It’s sort of unethical if you think about it in those terms.”

Yes, I can see how being rubbed with someone’s nut sack may make for a miserable day at work.

Whether you like it or not, the actress received an Academy Award for her sizzling performance in The Reader in 2008.

The 35-year-old actress hopes her nerves persist since she has promised not to “f***ing bother” until she finds a part she enjoys.

“I hope I am s***ing myself over the characters I play for the rest of my life,” Kate told V magazine, “because the day I go, ‘Oh yeah, that’s going to be a piece of pie’, why f***ing bother? If you do that, you do not learn.”

“I hope I’m always learning something. So I won an Oscar. It’s amazing. I’ve got that for the rest of my life for a performance I am proud of. It nearly killed me. I am really proud of the film. That’s it, moving on.”

Since n-de sequences don’t appear to be Winslet’s favorite component of her career, it’s nice that she can find joy in other aspects of her work that don’t include her privates.

Guy Pearce, Winslet’s Mildred Pierce co-star, said in June that the actress didn’t want her breasts to show during the HBO miniseries’ s-x scenes.
