Kate Moss gets NAKED for iconic photographer duo’s new fashion book
A new portfolio book by photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott has rare fashion images of Kate Moss, including many in which she appears naked.
The 43-year-old’s amazing physique is on full show as she reclines on a bed, her hair down and kept in place with bunny ears.
They’re part of many projects with photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott over the years, who describe Kate, 43, as “completely fearless in front of the camera.”
Throughout her nearly 20-year career, the duo has photographed the supermodel numerous times.
The limited edition book, designed in cooperation with Giovanni Bianco, has never-before-seen nude photos of supermodels Moss, Gisele Bündchen, and Daria Werbowy, shot by the team for publications such as Playboy, LOVE, and W.
The photos of Kate have created the greatest controversy.
Another photograph of the mother-of-one shows her lying face down on the floor, her bottom exposed.
Kate, who was born in Croydon, is shown in another shot for Vogue Japan wearing a corset and feathers, as well as a black-and-white photograph of her smoking a cigarette.
Kate displays significant sideboob as she looks blankly at something out of sight, her pearls strewn by her side.
Giorgio Armani, Roberto Cavalli, Fendi, Miu Miu, Gucci, Yves St Laurent, Givenchy, and Lancôme are among the worldwide fashion companies with whom the photographers have collaborated.
Mert, who was born in Turkey, and Marcus, who was born in Wales, met in 1994 at a party on a Hastings pier and immediately realized they had a passion for fashion.
Kim Kardashian teased her participation in the expensive book (only £450) by releasing a photo of herself in Mert and Marcus’s coffee table artwork.
The photograph, which showed Kim naked while climbing a tree in nothing but boots, appeared to be more of a fashionista shot than an attempt to break the internet.
Kate looks stunning in a white bustier with her hair slicked back and a fluffy cloak wrapped around her tiny shoulders.
The 300-page book is available through taschen.com in a limited edition run of 1300 copies for £450.
Lady Gaga, Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Linda Evangelista, Björk, Angelina Jolie, and Rihanna have all been photographed by the duo.
