The Duchess of Cambridge looked stunning as she competed in a charity boat race against her husband, Prince William.

The Duchess of Cambridge was spotted wearing shorts in public for the first time in 11 years at a charity yachting regatta in Cowes, according to The Sun.

Kate Middleton is recognized for her beautiful legs, but her skirts and outfits are generally knee-length or slightly above according to royal etiquette. She also always wears nylons or tights. For the first time in public as a royal, the 37-year-old mother of three was able to liberate her fit legs from fabric during the King’s Cup Regatta sailboat competition on Aug. 8. She was dressed in a pair of thigh-high blue shorts, and her legs were exposed! Her amazing gams are so tight and toned….enough it’s that she’s a royal Duchess, attractive, and the mother of three darling children, but she also has the legs of a movie star!

As they raced in the star-studded first King’s Cup Regatta on the Isle of Wight, Prince William and Kate Middleton were cheered on by their number one fans, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Many fans remarked on how toned her legs seemed in the dress, and the Duchess’s legs are the product of a lot of hard work.

The last and reportedly only occasion Kate wore the outfit in public was in September 2008, three years before she married into the royal family, when she attended a Day-Glo Midnight Roller Disco Party in London.

Kate greeted officials and fans in a nautical outfit of navy L.K. Bennett trousers with white buttons at the top, a striped Sandro short-sleeved blouse, and white Superga sneakers for the inaugural event, which featured eight of her charitable patronages. She then changed into her sailing outfit, which featured bare-leg shorts.

Prince George, Prince William and Kate’s eldest son, was photographed on a boat with his sister Princess Charlotte, dressed in a nautical-inspired attire.

Kate has already discussed how she keeps in shape, claiming that it’s all because to her children.

Royal fans complimented the Duchess for showing her legs during her visit on Thursday on Twitter.

“No one freak out, but Kate Middleton wore shorts??? Yassss queeeeeennnnnn” one user wrote.

Prince William participated aboard one of the other boats off the Isle of Wight, making it a family affair for the Cambridges. From the deck of a neighboring boat, two of their children, Prince George, 6, and Princess Charlotte, 4, were on hand to see their parents compete. Kate’s parents, Michael and Carol Middleton, were looking after them. Kate, who is athletic and competitive, did not fare well in the race. Her boat was eighth in the first heat but was disqualified for an early start in the second heat, placing her last in the competition.

Each of the participating boats is associated with one of William and Kate’s charities. Child Bereavement UK, Centrepoint, London’s Air Ambulance Charity 30th Anniversary Campaign, and Tusk, of which Prince William is patron, are among the charity.

Action on Addiction, Place2Be, the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families, and The Royal Foundation are among Kate’s charities.

Kate was asked how she lost her baby weight so fast following the birth of Princess Charlotte during a trip to India in 2016.

She replied: “I am running after my kids.”

The Duchess of Cambridge is an enthusiastic skier, some say even better than Prince William, and she enjoys working out with yoga and pilates, as well as rowing, cross-country running, and hockey.

“Kate is an exercise junkie. Pippa and Kate take their toned physiques extremely seriously. And mother Carole, in her 60s, is in extremely good shape,” a royal insider told the Daily Mail.

One celebrity competed for each charity. While Fara Williams raced for Centrepoint, Dan Snow, a TV personality, competed for London’s Air Ambulance. Grylls was racing for Tusk, a wildlife conservation group, while John Bishop was running for Action on Addiction.
