Princess Diana’s Former Butler Reveals Prostate Cancer Diagnosis and Urges Reconciliation Between Princes William and Harry
Paul Burrell, Princess Diana’s former butler, has expressed his fear that he may never have the chance to share with Princes William and Harry what he knows about their late mother.
In a recent interview, Burrell disclosed that he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, which has prompted him to prioritize sharing important information with the two princes before it’s too late.
He believes that this is something Diana would have wanted him to do.
As Burrell prepares for surgery, he feels compelled to reveal certain details to the princes, even though he acknowledges that some of it may not be pleasant.
He stated, “My illness has focused my attention on telling the boys things before it’s too late, telling them what they really should know.

You must go see the boys.”
Burrell served as Princess Diana’s loyal servant for 10 years until her untimely death in 1997, referring to her as his rock.
Now, he believes the time is right to share some of the things Diana confided in him, which he has never spoken about before.
His hope is that his revelations could potentially bring the brothers back together, fulfilling Diana’s desire for their unity.
Burrell emphasized that he will only tell them the truth and expects nothing in return.
Speaking about the ongoing rift between William and Harry, Burrell expressed his longing to see William embrace his brother.
However, he acknowledged that there are numerous obstacles standing in the way.
He reminded everyone of the heart-wrenching image of the two young princes walking behind their mother’s coffin, stating, “The nation saw that, the nation witnessed that, and our hearts broke for those two boys.
The path that should have been the same path from then on.
That’s what Diana would have wanted—for two boys to be stuck side by side for the rest of their lives.
Her death should have glued them together forever but didn’t.”
In his memoir, Prince William seemed to widen the rift with his family through a series of allegations.
However, he defended himself, asserting that he has never intended to harm or hurt his family.
Similarly, Harry expressed his love for his father, brother, and family, emphasizing that nothing he has done, including writing his book, was meant to cause harm.
He expressed his hope for a sit-down conversation to address the ongoing tensions within the family.
