The Down-to-Earth Princess: Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, Enjoys a Normal Life
The Princess of Wales may have access to all the designer outfits in the world, along with royal jewels and a team of servants, but she remains a down-to-earth individual who enjoys the simple pleasures of life.
While some people feel the need to travel to far-off destinations to experience freedom, Catherine, the wife of Prince William, can be found freely strolling through the park, having fun with her children.
It is not uncommon for Londoners to share stories of their encounters with the Duchess of Cambridge and her children on the streets or in local stores.
Unlike many other members of the royal family, Catherine does not hide behind a wall of guards wearing bulletproof vests.
Though they are undoubtedly nearby, their presence is as discreet as possible, blending into the crowd, and always ready to protect the royal family.

However, the people’s affection for Catherine is so strong that they greet her warmly and cheerfully wherever she goes.
What sets Catherine apart is her willingness to lead a normal everyday life, in addition to fulfilling her royal duties.
She is frequently spotted at supermarkets, picking out Halloween costumes with her children or filling up a basket with groceries.
Personally, I find it refreshing to see that she is just like any other mom, going shopping with her kids.
Catherine is the perfect embodiment of the crown when she carries out her royal responsibilities, and simply herself when she lives her life.
The British people adore Catherine because she is relatable and approachable, much like themselves.
It is not unusual to spot her in a store, pushing a cart filled with children’s books and craft materials, or purchasing a couple of t-shirts for a mere £2.
