A former ambassador said Prince Harry and Meghan Markle should be stripped of their Royal titles, with the Queen instead bestowing the honor to his brother Prince William’s children.

Adrian Hill also told Harry that his “sniping” at his family had to stop, and that he and his wife couldn’t “have it both ways” by only embracing exposure when it suited them. Mr Hill told Daily Express: “If Harry wants to become a Hollywood star, that’s up to him, but for myself as a person who regards himself from Sussex – lived there thirty years, plus mother’s family – one cannot help wondering why the Queen’s advisers allow Harry and Megan to carry on claiming a connection with Sussex let alone as Duke and Duchess.

“There are two dukes already resident, one at Arundel and the other at Goodwood and both families do a great deal for the local community.

“Both are in West Sussex so a Duke and Duchess would have brought something glamorous to East Sussex.”

Mr Hill, a former Royal Engineers officer who worked as a member of the Channel Tunnel team at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Cabinet Office’s COBRA Committee, added: “I know Sam Goldwyn said there’s no such thing as bad publicity, only publicity, but I cannot see anyone in America taking a holiday in Sussex thanks to Harry and Meghan.

Prince Harry decided to do the Oprah tell-all after military titles were removed

During their appearance with Oprah Winfrey, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shocked the world by exposing the royal family turmoil.

“There was a bust-up just before Oprah but it wasn’t to do with Archie’s title. That had been known and discussed for quite a while,” a source told The Sun.

“Harry and Meghan were very cross before Oprah because the final Megxit separation had just been signed off which included Harry not keeping military roles,” shared the insider.

“That was what made him so angry. He’s very emotional and his military roles were very important to him given that he served,” they added.
