The actress will be featured in Play boy’s pages next month, Lohan’s spokesperson announced on Monday. Lohan spent time in jail on Sunday for breaking her probation related to theft and drunk driving charges.

Lindsay Lohan will be highlighted in the January/February edition of, which reaches newsstands in late December, according to a statement from the magazine.

Separately, Lohan’s publicist said that she had finished a photo session and will be featured on the magazine’s cover. The publicist Steve Honig said, “The pictorial is absolutely fantastic and very tasteful, and will be accompanied by an interview that will let readers see another side of Lindsay.”

As Lohan battled her continuing legal issues in recent weeks, rumors regarding a Playboy picture session gained public attention. According to the celebrity news website TMZ.com, Lohan was paid $750,000 to pose for them, but she demanded $1 million.

Since being found guilty of drunk driving and drug usage in 2007, she has had a history of legal issues. She was found to have broken her probation on both those counts from 2011 as well as an other charge from last week for stealing a necklace from a jewelry shop. Lohan was given a 30-day prison term in Los Angeles by the court.

Lindsay’s probation was breached after it was revealed that she was thrown off her community service course at LA’s Downtown Women’s Centre. Following the hearing, the emotional actress was freed after posting $100,000 bond and was given the task of cleaning the LA County Morgue for 16 hours per week until her next court date on November 2.

Her father Michael has also made headlines for his antics when he overstepped the bounds of “fame” by appearing on VH1’s “Celebrity Rehab.” His partner said he threatened to throw her from a balcony, and the Florida police detained him for domestic assault on Tuesday morning.

Lohan, who was once a promising child star in the popular Disney films The Parent Trap and Freaky Friday, is known for her wild parties and has run into a number of legal issues throughout the years.
