‘Homesick’ Harry wants to reconcile with his family and ‘admit missteps’
Prince Harry may like his new, ostensibly quiet life in America, but returning to the United Kingdom reminds him that there is no place like home.
According to a royal specialist, Prince Harry is “homesick” and has been telling pals that he wants to reconnect with his family.
According to respected royal historian Robert Lacey, a “homesick” Duke of Sussex has been “mournfully” phoning friends in the UK in recent weeks after receiving criticism for his remarks about Prince Charles. Mr Lacey, the author of Battle of Brothers, went on to say that Harry has been telling them that he wants to reconcile with the royals.
It comes as Prince Harry returns to the United Kingdom to unveil a statue of his late mother, Princess Diana.
He’s presently in quarantine in the United Kingdom, awaiting the unveiling of a monument of his late mother, Princess Diana, at Kensington Palace on Thursday.

Since moving to the United States last year, the Sussexes have accused the royal family of racism against Meghan Markle in a series of dramatic interviews.
“‘Homesick Harry’ has been calling UK pals mournfully in recent weeks, since his public complaints against Prince Charles were so poorly received,” Mr Lacey wrote in the Daily Mail.
Friends “have been trying to point out to him the risk he is running with his stream of hurtful, personal complaints” Mr Lacey added.
“I’m told that Harry has been telling friends he would like to reconcile, and is willing to admit some of the missteps he has made,” he added.
Friends had hoped that Harry and Prince William would reconcile during Prince Philip’s funeral, but too much had transpired between the brothers, and they were “at each other’s throats as fiercely as ever,” according to a close acquaintance.
The historian also says that Harry’s relationship with his brother has been marred by “searing animosity” for the past three years, despite the fact that they have been seen together on many occasions, including Prince Philip’s burial in April.
It will be his first meeting with his brother William, Duke of Cambridge, since their grandpa, Prince Philip, died in April.
Ahead of the ceremony, much attention has been focused on once-close brothers Harry and Prince William, who are at the center of an ongoing feud.
“The rage and anger between those two has grown so incredibly deep. Too many harsh and wounding things have been said.”
In contrast to rumors of a “mini summit” between the two at Windsor Castle after the wedding, Mr Lacey said that there was “no reconciliation” or “brotherly sit-down.”
Mr. Lacey revealed earlier this week that Harry has spent the last year chatting to his grandmother, The Queen.
Last month, Harry accused the royals of “total neglect” in his Apple TV documentary series, The Me You Can’t See, and criticized his father Charles’ upbringing in the series and on the Armchair Expert podcast.
“There is sharing, and then there is oversharing,” a senior Buckingham Palace insider said.
Harry’s comments followed his and Meghan Markle’s contentious Oprah Winfrey interview, in which they made a series of bombshell allegations about the royals.
The installation of Princess Diana’s statue on what would have been the late royal’s 60th birthday is likely to be missed by Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle.
