Meghan Markle’s absence from Balmoral Castle, where the Queen resided, has sparked curiosity among royal watchers.

The reason behind her absence has now been unveiled.

Following the news of Queen Elizabeth’s passing, Meghan Markle was not seen accompanying her husband, Prince Harry, to Balmoral.

Royal expert Katie Nicholl sheds light on the situation, stating that Meghan did not receive an invitation to join the family estate.

Although Prince Harry was unable to make it to Balmoral in time to visit his grandmother, the family had hoped for his presence, according to Nicholl.

However, there was no invitation extended to Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, to join them.

Nicholl further adds that Meghan has expressed her willingness to visit Balmoral in the future, but believes it is crucial for Prince Harry to go alone this time.

Prince Harry, 37, and Meghan, 41, had plans to attend the Welchild Awards in London.

However, they canceled their appearance after learning about Queen Elizabeth’s deteriorating health.

Prince Harry then boarded a flight to Scotland alone.

Shortly after his arrival, news of the Queen’s passing was announced.

He was spotted arriving at the property in a black SUV, his hands partially covering his face.

Meanwhile, King Charles III, his wife Camilla, the Queen, and Princess Anne had already been in Scotland for a prior engagement.

Other family members, including Prince William, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward, and his wife Sophie, Countess of Sussex, also made their way to Scotland.

It remains unconfirmed which family members, if any, were present with the Queen at the time of her passing.

In Windsor, Kate Middleton did not pick up her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, from school when she learned of her husband’s whereabouts.

Just a day earlier, Prince William and Kate, now known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Cornwall, were seen attending a school function with their children.

Queen Elizabeth II peacefully passed away at the age of 96 on Thursday.

The Royal Family’s official social media accounts released a statement confirming her death.

In response, King Charles expressed his deep sorrow and called upon the entire United Kingdom to join in mourning.
