Alongside Mark and Sandy, Andrew and Fergie are also proud pet parents to five Norfolk Terriers at their shared home in the Royal Lodge, Windsor.

Throughout her remarkable 70-year reign, the Queen owned more than 30 corgis.

Her first dog, Susan, was given to her as a gift on her 18th birthday.

Muck, another corgi, was gifted to her by Prince Andrew and their daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie to keep her company during Prince Philip’s hospitalization.

Sandy was later given to her by the Duke of York on what would have been Philip’s 100th birthday.

During the Queen’s funeral, Prince William reassured mourners that the corgis would be well taken care of.

He described them as friendly and confirmed that they had a loving home.

Prince Andrew, known for his affection towards the corgis, comforted them during the funeral proceedings at Windsor Castle, where they stood guard.

Fergie, along with other members of the royal family, including Andrew, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, King Charles III, Camilla, Queen Consort, Prince Anne, Prince Edward, and more, attended the funeral to pay their respects.

On September 8, Fergie took to Twitter to honor the Queen, expressing her heartbreak over her passing and acknowledging her extraordinary legacy of duty, service, and steadfastness.

She also praised the Queen for her generosity and continued support even after Fergie’s divorce.

Andrew, the Duke of York, also paid tribute to his mother on September 18, addressing her as “Dear Mummy, Mother, Your Majesty.”

He expressed his gratitude for the honor and privilege of serving her, acknowledging her unique and unwavering devotion to the nation.

He further mentioned the love and respect shown by the people and assured the Queen that her legacy would be honored.

As the Queen’s dogs continue their lives under the care of Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew, it is evident that they are in good hands and will be cherished just as Her Majesty cherished them throughout her reign.
