Royal Easter: Kate’s Bold Blue Dress Steals the Show, While Meghan Faces Designer Rejection
The recent Royal Easter celebration saw Kate Middleton donning a stunning blue dress by designer Airedem that left many in awe.
However, Meghan Markle’s experience with the same designer was quite different.
It has been revealed that Meghan had reached out to Airedem for a gown to wear at an upcoming coronation, but unfortunately, her request was turned down as she was deemed undeserving.
On Easter Sunday, Princess Kate, accompanied by her husband Prince William and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, attended the Easter matins service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.
The Princess of Wales looked poised and elegant in a sapphire-hued coat dress, radiating warmth and joy on the sunny day.

Kate, known for her impeccable style choices, opted for a figure-skimming Mayfair number from one of her favorite designers, Catherine Walker.
Complementing her outfit, she wore an electric blue pillbox hat from Locke & Co., which added a touch of sophistication.
Her chocolate-brown tresses were elegantly styled in tumbling curls, and she enhanced her natural beauty with a rosy blush, bronze eyeshadow, and a soft pink lip.
No Kate ensemble is complete without perfectly coordinated accessories.
She adorned herself with the glamorous Royal War sapphire and pearl drop earrings set in a gold clasp, along with her iconic diamond and sapphire engagement ring, previously worn by Princess Diana.
However, all eyes were drawn to her immaculate red manicure, a departure from the traditional Royal etiquette that discourages fake nails or brightly colored nails for public appearances.
Princess Charlotte, following in her mother’s fashionable footsteps, looked adorable in a smart floral dress from Rachel Riley, paired with pastel blue tights.
Meanwhile, Prince George and Prince Louis looked equally dashing in matching navy suit jackets.
This is not the first time Kate has stepped out in the bold and beautiful cobalt number.
Last year, she wore the brilliant blue ensemble to attend the Commonwealth Day service alongside Prince William.
Interestingly, a new report sheds light on a feud between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton that dates back to before their international headlines.
The cause of their disagreement?
Couture fashion.
In 2017, London designer Ed Moraleoglu became the source of tension between the sisters-in-law when Meghan, then engaged to Prince Harry, found herself excluded from accessing one of her favorite labels.
Middleton had an arrangement for VIP access to Moraleoglu’s outfits, which were also favored by celebrities like Nicole Kidman, Naomi Watts, and Claire Foy.
Moraleoglu’s Ed M label, known for its romantic floral prints and elegantly understated sequined dresses, had long been a favorite of Middleton’s.
She had previously worn the designer’s looks on several Royal engagements, including a midi off-the-shoulder frock with frayed edges and a fluted skirt in 2018.
Even during her pregnancies with Prince George and Princess Charlotte, Middleton continued to accentuate her baby bump with figure-fitting floral dresses from the brand.
Meghan, too, had been a fan of Ed M. Moraleoglu’s designs, wearing them even before meeting Prince Harry during her time on the Canadian legal drama Suits.
She sported the brand’s Divina dress from the 2015 fall-winter collection during an appearance on the Today show in 2016 and later re-wore it for a Christmas lunch with the late Queen in 2018.
Despite Meghan’s fondness for the designer, even after her engagement to Prince Harry, Kate, who was already a client, continued to receive priority access, according to The Telegraph.
This revelation highlights the existence of a family fashion hierarchy within the Royals, where seniority plays a role in securing first dibs on designers.
In conclusion, Kate Middleton’s bold blue dress stole the spotlight at the recent Royal Easter celebration.
While she exuded elegance and poise, Meghan Markle faced rejection from designer Airedem for an upcoming coronation gown.
This incident sheds light on a past feud between Meghan and Kate over designer preferences, where Kate’s established relationship with Ed Moraleoglu seemed to give her priority access.
