The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, commemorating her remarkable 70-year reign, will be celebrated with a four-day event in June 2022.

Among the festivities, a captivating live concert is set to take place at Buckingham Palace.

Additionally, London will host the Platinum Jubilee Pageant, showcasing 5,000 performers from across the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.

On Sunday, June 5, concert parties will be held nationwide.

However, reports of Prince Harry’s desire to attend the Jubilee have stirred up controversy.

In an interview with The Sun’s Fabulous, Royal Insider Phil Dampier expressed his opinion on the matter.

Dampier criticized Harry and Meghan for selectively participating in royal duties and representing the Queen throughout the Commonwealth while opting out of others.

He questioned the logic behind celebrating 70 years on the throne if they do not support the monarchy.

Although he acknowledged Harry’s attendance at Prince Philip’s funeral as understandable due to their close bond, he deemed their presence at the Jubilee as hypocritical.

Dampier, author of Royally Suited: Harry and Meghan in their own words, speculated that the Queen is unlikely to prevent their attendance.

He emphasized that the Queen, being a compassionate figure, has consistently expressed her love for Harry and Meghan despite her deep disappointment over their departure from the royal family.

Dampier suggested that the Queen would not ostracize them, as they are still considered family members.

He believed that the Queen is hopeful for any rift to be healed.

The Queen is poised to become the first British monarch in history to reign for 70 years, and Prince Harry reportedly wishes to play a role in the Jubilee celebrations.

However, his potential attendance has raised several logistical concerns.

An anonymous royal insider informed The Sun that accommodating Harry and Meghan is proving to be challenging.

Questions arise about their positioning during the event and which specific activities they can participate in.

The concern is that their presence should not overshadow the celebration of the Queen’s 70 years of service to the nation.

Currently residing in a £11.2 million mansion north of Los Angeles with their son Archie, the Sussexes’ involvement in the Jubilee remains uncertain.

The controversy surrounding their attendance adds an additional layer of complexity to an already momentous occasion.

As preparations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee unfold, the question of how to incorporate Harry and Meghan into the festivities looms large.
