The Princess of Wales, Catherine, has been making waves in the fashion world after being spotted wearing heels from the Florence-based brand, Akwesasne.

During King Charles III’s coronation, Catherine wore a black pair of the label’s popular bow tie pumps, which resulted in viral moments and created $726,000 MIV.

She was also seen in a pair of Akwesasne’s blue Love Link pumps on the same day.

The resulting moments from each shoe created an 884% spike in MIV for Akwesasne on May 5th compared to the day before.

Akwesasne founder Edgardo Osorio took to Instagram to express his gratitude and honor that Catherine chose to wear his brand during the celebrations for King Charles III’s coronation.

He also posted about Her Royal Highness Princess Elizabeth of Belgium wearing Akwesasne uptown pumps.

Catherine has been seen wearing the bow tie pumps to various events, including the National Portrait Gallery reopening event.

However, this news has not been well-received by Meghan Markle, who is known to be a fan of Akwesasne’s bow tie style and has worn them numerous times since at least 2018.

Meghan is said to be having a meltdown over Catherine’s recent choice to wear the same style.

It is worth noting that Edgardo Osorio is the actual designer and clearly chose who he’s honored to have wearing and representing his brand.

Meghan has been struggling with public image crises in recent weeks.

First, she wasn’t invited to King Charles’s coronation.

Shortly thereafter, Meghan and Prince Harry were chased by paparazzi in New York City, and various pundits accused the couple of exaggerating their story or even making it up entirely.

And because PR crises tend to come in threes, that controversy was followed by news that Meghan’s Spotify podcast had been canceled after just one season.

Reps for Meghan insist that the decision was mutual, but industry insiders claim otherwise.

The situation has bolstered claims that the Sussexes are in the throes of a major public image crisis.

Harry and Meghan’s approval ratings are at an all-time low and have been taking heat from some very high-profile critics.

Meghan is now more unpopular than ever, with seven in ten Britons having a negative view of her, according to new polling.

Meghan’s net favorability among the public has fallen to a record low of minus 47, the lowest it’s been since YouGov began recording it in 2017.

Similarly, public opinion of her husband Prince Harry has fallen to minus 36, a two-point decrease from April when it was minus 34, but this has improved since January when it stood at minus 44.

It is clear that Catherine’s fashion choices have been well-received by the public, as she remains the most popular of the royals with a net favorability standing at 60.

Favor for the King, Queen Camilla, and the Prince and Princess of Wales are also on the rise, according to a survey of 2014 people.

In conclusion, Akwesasne’s popularity has soared after Catherine was seen wearing their heels, creating viral moments and a significant increase in MIV.

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle continues to struggle with public image crises and falling approval ratings.

Catherine’s fashion choices have been well-received, making her the most popular of the royals, while favor for the rest of the family is also on the rise.
