According to an exciting book, Prince William angered Prince Harry by telling their uncle Earl Spencer to stop him from marrying Meghan Markle so soon.

When Harry began thinking about getting married, William expressed his concern that his brother was moving so quickly in his courtship.

‘This all seems to be moving rather quickly,’ William was reported to have remarked to Harry with skepticism, according to several witnesses. ‘Are you sure?’

William couldn’t imagine how Harry should consider marrying this untested and unknown quantity less than two years since their first encounter.

And he thought Princess Diana’s brother, Charles Spencer, might be a calming influence.

But, according to reports, this backfired spectacularly, making Harry much more adamant than ever to marry Meghan as soon as possible.

Robert Lacey’s novel, Battle of Brothers, makes these astounding assertions.

““The result of the Spencer intervention was an even more bitter explosion,” the book says.

“Once again Harry refused to slow down.

“He didn’t blame his uncle. He understood why Diana’s brother should want to help.

“Yet he was furious with his elder brother for dragging other family members into the row.”

According to the Daily Mail’s serialization of Battle Of The Brothers, the dispute resulted in the brother’s ongoing “fraternal fissure.”

“The fraternal fissure became established. There would be patch-ups and reconciliations, especially when a public show of unity was required. But that anger and mistrust – that distance – has lasted to the present day.”

Robert is a well-known royal expert in the United Kingdom, and he also acts as a royal adviser on the popular Netflix series The Crown.

These assertions are consistent with those made in Finding Freedom.

William advised Harry not to rush into marrying Meghan, according to Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand’s book.

“After all, these are two brothers that have spent their whole lives with people trying to take advantage of them,” says one excerpt.

“They’ve both developed a radar to detect that type of person, but as William didn’t know a whole lot about Meghan, he wanted to make sure Harry wasn’t blindsided by lust.”

Furthermore, according to the book, William advised Harry to take his time getting to know Meghan, his “girl.”

Harry was evidently irritated by the usage of the word “girl.” As if he interpreted that for a snobbish stance toward the American.

William told his younger brother, “Take as much time as you need to get to know this girl.”

According to historian Robert Lacey’s book, Harry went to counseling “at his older brother’s suggestion.”

Harry’s last girlfriend before Meghan, Cressida Bonas, is reported to have thought he was “a damaged and self-obsessed young man.”

He would “rant and complain about paparazzi lurking where clearly there were none,” she reportedly told friends.
