After a long day at school, Prince Louis, the four-year-old son of Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, frequently makes a light-hearted request to his mother.

According to Middleton, Louis particularly enjoys spending time in the garden and outdoors.

During a recent visit to Wales, Middleton spoke about her children and their love for outdoor activities.

Accompanied by Prince William, Middleton visited a therapy garden at a rehab facility where she emphasized the benefits of gardening and being outside.

She shared that Louis insists on playing in the garden every day after school.

Middleton was overheard saying to those present, “Louis comes home and says, ‘I need to get my energy out.'”

Louis is currently a first-year student at Lambrook School, where his siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte also attend.

While the Windsor School, attended by the three royal children, comes with a hefty price tag of £50,000 per year, Lambrook School has been praised by parents for its bucolic atmosphere.

It is possible that the young prince has even taken part in the school’s Forest Fridays, during which younger students venture outside to build dens and enjoy roasted marshmallows by a fire.

Middleton recalled her visit to a forest school in Denmark in February 2022, where she witnessed children enthusiastically singing campfire psalms.

Roya Nikkhah, royal editor for The Sunday Times, commented on the differences between the Windsor School and London schools.

She stated that the Windsor School offers a unique experience for the royal children, mentioning the presence of freely roaming peacocks, animals, and even a miniature golf course.

The school encourages students to spend time outdoors as part of Prince William and Kate’s strategy to provide a more normal upbringing for their children.

In addition to these revelations, it was disclosed that Prince George is now learning to play tackle rugby, a departure from the non-contact sport of tag rugby.

Kate shared that they are teaching him the rules and gradually building his confidence.

With his height and physique, George seems well-suited for the sport.

Meanwhile, Louis will soon join in, as Charlotte also plays rugby.
