Prince Harry is set to take on former Mirror editor and Meghan Markle’s archenemy, Piers Morgan, in court in what could be an explosive showdown.

The Duke of Sussex will be having a trial against Mirror Group Newspapers, accusing the company of using illicit means to access the phone of some of his friends, including his sister-in-law Kate Middleton and his ex-girlfriend.

He believes that the newspaper company’s actions led to the breakdown of his relationship with his former girlfriend.

During the trial, Prince Harry will take the witness stand for three days, giving evidence against the media company.

His testimony will mostly involve how Mirror Newspaper Group allegedly tapped into his voicemail to obtain information about his royal life.

The Duke of Sussex will also bring his wife Meghan into the equation by suing Piers Morgan for the continuous slander of his wife and spreading lies against her.

Piers Morgan and Prince Harry seem to be at loggerheads, with the former never missing the opportunity to slander Meghan, no matter if it’s verified or not.

However, Prince Harry is no longer having any of this and has decided to take legal action against Morgan.

Morgan was an editor at the Mirror from 1995 to 2004 and has denied any involvement in the phone hacking scandal.

When asked about his knowledge of the media outlet’s consistent use of phone hacking to obtain celebrity secrets, Morgan said, “Originally I said I had never hacked a phone, never told anyone to hack a phone, and no stories have been published in the Mirror in my time from the hacking of a phone.

Then someone pointed out that you can only know the first two things for sure.

All I can talk to is what I know.

I never hacked a phone.

I wouldn’t know how.”

Prince Harry’s witness statement will likely have him face off against Morgan, who will have to defend the actions of people on his staff.

The controversial TV host is going to have a hard time proving his innocence in the phone hacking scandal.

The trial will bring to light the extent to which media companies go to obtain information about celebrities and their private lives.

Prince Harry’s decision to take legal action against Mirror Group Newspapers and Piers Morgan shows that he is determined to protect his family’s privacy and put an end to the constant slander and lies spread about them in the media.
