Prince Harry Faces Humiliation as Frogmore Cottage Eviction Becomes Official
Prince Harry’s recent eviction from Frogmore Cottage marks another blow to his standing within the British Royal Family.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex bid farewell to their former UK residence, but this turn of events carries further implications for Harry.
As a result of losing his home in the country, he is set to miss out on a significant royal role, particularly if King Charles is unable to fulfill his duties as monarch.
Frogmore Cottage had served as Harry and Meghan Markle’s official UK residence since their marriage.
However, according to a royal expert, the absence of a home in the UK means that Harry can no longer act as a state councillor in the event of the king’s incapacity.

Yesterday, June 30, marked the deadline for the Sussexes to vacate their Windsor property.
Their remaining possessions were shipped to their new home in Montecito, California.
Richard Fitzwilliams, a royal commentator, emphasized the significance of losing their UK residence without an alternative.
He explained that this development prevents Harry from fulfilling his potential as a state councillor.
Previously, even as a non-working monarch, Harry possessed the right to undertake this role.
However, with no UK residence, he has now forfeited that opportunity.
Fitzwilliams further elaborated that this situation could have repercussions if William were to ascend the throne.
Without a place of residence in the UK, Harry would be unable to support his brother, a responsibility he does not currently hold.
Typically, councillors of state consist of four senior members of the royal family over the age of 21, along with the king’s wife.
The current roster includes Queen Camilla, Prince William, Prince Harry, Prince Andrew, and Princess Beatrice.
Charles had previously proposed adding Princess Anne and Prince Edward to the list.
Given Harry and Andrew’s withdrawal from their royal roles, the king sought an amendment to the Regency Act 1937, which outlines the duties and responsibilities of state councillors.
The proposed change, read to the House of Lords, aimed to include Anne and Edward to ensure the smooth functioning of public affairs during the king’s absence on official duties abroad.
Now that Harry and Meghan no longer possess Frogmore Cottage, it has been revealed that they must negotiate a special agreement with the monarch if they wish to reside in any royal properties in the future.
Harry had previously stayed at Frogmore during a three-day visit to London for a court case.
As Prince Harry faces further humiliation following the eviction from Frogmore Cottage, his diminished role within the British Royal Family becomes increasingly apparent.
With the loss of his UK residence, he is now unable to fulfill his potential as a state councillor, should the need arise.
