Prince Harry and Prince William: Diverging Paths Towards Happiness

Prince Harry and Prince William, despite sharing a turbulent past, have taken different paths in their pursuit of a happier future and family, according to royal author Angela Levin.

In an op-ed for the Daily Telegraph, Levin highlighted that while both brothers faced the same concerns growing up, William has always had a broader perspective compared to his younger sibling.

Levin noted that William, like Harry, was raised by the same parents and shared similar worries about trust in relationships.

However, their lives have clearly diverged on this issue.

While Harry has been vocal from his California home, engaging in woke podcasts and giving interviews alongside his wife, William has consistently focused on the bigger picture and pursued practical happiness since a young age.

Notably, both brothers sought to avoid repeating the destructive patterns they witnessed in their own parents’ relationship.

Levin, who interviewed Harry for her biography “Harry!

Conversations with the Prince” in 2017, revealed that neither William nor Harry had a clear understanding of what a normal, happy family life looked like due to their difficult upbringing.

William found his life companion, Kate Middleton, while leading a relatively normal existence at St Andrew’s University.

Their friendship blossomed into a romantic relationship after months of knowing each other.

Before proposing to Kate in 2010, William even went through a brief breakup with her in 2007.

Levin believes that William, by parenting his children, has broken the cycle of pain and suffering mentioned by Harry in a recent podcast appearance.

On the other hand, Harry seems to hold tightly to his family’s mistakes.

During a recent episode of the Armchair Expert podcast hosted by actor Dax Shepard, Harry discussed various topics, including mental health and his military career.

He also briefly touched upon his life in California and as a member of the royal family.

Harry expressed his desire to break the cycle of pain and suffering in his own children’s upbringing.

However, this statement has faced criticism from royal commentators such as Robert Jobson, who accused Harry of throwing his UK family under the bus.

Jobson took to Twitter, saying, “Sir Prince Haas has not only thrown his dad under the bus, but the Queen and late Grandpa too for their parenting style.

Forgive me, but he’s been a dad for how long?

Perhaps he should pen a book on how to parent properly drawing on his wealth of experience.”

Others, including Prince Harry and Meghan’s biographer Omad Scobie, pointed out that Prince Charles’ upbringing had already been extensively discussed in the past.

Scobie tweeted, “In 1994, Prince Charles authorized a biography on himself by journalist Jonathan Dimbleby.

One chapter in it, approved by the Prince, talks in great detail about his unresolved childhood issues with emotionally distant parents.”

In conclusion, Prince Harry and Prince William have taken diverging paths in their pursuit of happiness and family life.

While William has focused on the bigger picture and broken the cycle of pain and suffering, Harry seems more inclined to hold onto his family’s mistakes.

These differences have become apparent through their actions and public statements, sparking debate among royal commentators about their respective approaches to parenting and family dynamics.
