This summer, a new version of Harry and Meghan’s biography Finding Freedom will be published, with new chapters on the couple’s Oprah interview.

Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand wrote the book Finding Freedom about the Sussex couple, and the first edition was released on August 11 of last year.

According to data from data provider Nielsen Book, it sold 31,000 copies in the UK in the first five days of its publication.

It gave Meghan and Harry’s account of the events through friends and Sussex sources, and it is now being revised with new chapters.

According to The Sunday Times, the latest release will contain new information about their candid interview with Oprah Winfrey last month, accusations that Meghan, 39, bullied royal employees, which she denies, and Prince Philip’s death.

According to The Guardian, the latest chapters would explain Queen Elizabeth II’s decision to revoke the Duke of Sussex’s military titles and royal patronages. The new edition would go further into the couple’s arguments made during their March interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The couple’s new life in America, as well as their deals with Netflix and Spotify, will be discussed in the book. The Oprah interview “detonated a bomb under the royal family,” a senior courtier told The Sunday Times, and “the book will not help.”

“What else is there to say after Oprah?” said another senior royal source.

It will be available for purchase on August 5, and it is expected to escalate tensions within the Royal Family, especially between Harry and William.

Following the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral, it was thought that Harry and his brother William would begin to mend fences, but the reissue of Finding Freedom is only likely to worsen tensions between the Sussexes and the Firm, according to reports.

Finding Freedom revealed personal information about Harry and Meghan’s lives and relationship, but the pair insisted they had no input.

The book covered the period between Meghan and Harry’s meeting in 2016 and their departure from the royal family and relocation to America last year.

According to the study, Harry was “pissed off” with his brother, who he believed acted like a “snob” as he told Harry to “take as much time as you need to get to know” Meghan.

Meghan was said to be “disappointed” that the Duchess of Cambridge wasn’t “welcoming enough,” while Harry thought the Prince of Wales cherished his reputation above his relationship with his son.

The writers, Durand and Scobie, said they had “unique access” to the couple’s inner circle.
