According to The Sun, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s friends Omid Scobie and Gayle King will lead US coverage of Prince Philip’s funeral.

King, the host of CBS This Morning, will host a special update for US television on the network.

Meanwhile, ABC’s reporting of the ceremony will include Omid Scobie, who co-wrote Finding Freedom, an insightful biography on Megxit.

Scobie will be reporting live from Windsor for ABC today at the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral.

When asked about the inconsistencies between the brothers’ statements, Omid Scobie said that since stepping down as a senior royal, Prince Harry has had more space to express himself. Prince Harry praised his grandfather’s “banter,” labeling him as a “master of the barbecue,” while Prince William praised his grandfather’s “service” to the Queen and Commonwealth.

Despite what the outside world might think, Harry and Meghan’s friend Omid Scobie claims that the brothers are ‘unified.’

On Good Morning Britain, Omid started, “This was really showing the different personalities of Harry and William.”

“Harry I think in his new role as a non-working royal had the freedom to be a bit more informal with his words.

“But I think what both together gave was a really balanced overview of their relationship with their grandfather, which was not only filled with respect, of course inspiration.

Mr Scobie even maintained that Meghan ‘wanted’ to attend the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral at Windsor on Saturday, citing reports in the US that she avoided it to escape being the ‘center of attention.’

Gayle King said that Harry’s talks with his family were unproductive.

After Oprah Winfrey’s interview with the Sussexes aired, Prince Harry talked with his brother, William, and father, Charles, but those talks were “unproductive,” according to Gayle King, a friend of the couple and co-host of CBS’s “This Morning.”

King said she called Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex to check on them.

“Harry has talked to his brother and he has talked to his father too. The word I was given was those conversations were not productive. But they are glad that they have at least started a conversation,” King said.

During the couple’s interview with Winfrey, Harry admitted that his relationship with both men had nearly broken down, revealing that he barely spoke to William and that Charles, his father and the British heir to the throne, had stopped taking his calls at one point.

King also suggested that the couple found the response from Buckingham Palace to the couple’s interview disappointing.
