‘Pearl Harbor’ star Kate Beckinsale says she doesn’t mind getting undressed on-screen for the right role.

According to Beckinsale, her daughter should be proud of the role.

She said to Redbook magazine, “I think it’s worse nowadays, because you do something [like a nud£ scene], and immediately somebody makes a five-times-long feature on YouTube to rock music, and they play it over and over again.

“I’m not averse to doing a nud£ scene, but it would have to be something I felt I could really argue in front of my daughter, and so far that hasn’t happened.”

Lily, 12, is her child with ex-husband Michael Sheen; she is now married to her first Underworld director, Len Wiseman.

She tells the magazine about her current partner: “We’re just a good couple. Having a husband who’s comfortable being very affectionate is important.’

‘Women do well with that. If the husband is very loving, the wife blossoms, and everybody’s fine.’

Due to her “unconventional” family situation, Beckinsale also stressed the value of spending time with Lily.

“We’ve got a kind of unconventional family situation, with two dads, and I’ve always been the constant parent, the one who is here. Even if I’m working, it’s me,” she said. “So if anything ripples the water, then it’s important to be home.

“My daughter is about to be 13, and I realize how fleeting time is. I was happy to be around Lily to talk about her day when she got home.”

After being eight years married to Sheen, Beckinsale and Wiseman started dating in 2003, which led to the breakdown of their marriage.

Each party has adamantly denied any adultery, and the three of them are still friends today.

It is not unexpected that the British beauty gravitates toward action parts given that she is a lady who understands what she wants in both love and her work.

She has acted in action movies with a lot of stunt work, such as Vacancy, Van Helsing, and the soon-to-be-released Contraband.

She explains why she enjoys playing strong female characters by saying, ‘[They’re an] incredible opportunity. Here I am with a gun; here I am on a wire; here I am learning gymnastics.’

‘I remember turning up in Budapest my first day of filming, running along a subway with a couple of guns. I thought I was going to die, I was so scared. But I very much wanted to play roles that were not just the girl taking a shower, the girl who was getting beaten, or just the girl.’

‘Now I’m someone who goes to Comic-Con–someone who knows what Comic-Con is!’

Whether the proud celebrity is dressed in leather, camouflage, or glitzy accessories, she always looks beautiful.

Despite the white minidress she is wearing having a low hemline, she still manages to look exquisite on the Redbook cover.

She wears a variety of black and white outfits throughout the spread, including a black dress with a floral appliqué at the shoulder, a white trench, black leggings, and motorcycle boots.
