Harry and Meghan Rumoured to Change Surname to Spencer
According to Tom Bauer on GB News, Harry and Meghan are reportedly considering changing their surname to Spencer.
If this rumour is true, it is certainly shocking.
It begs the question of why any woman would even consider changing her name to her spouse’s maiden name.

One person expressed that removing the titles would be a great insult to the Queen, Prince Philip, and King Charles.

Additionally, it would be an insult to the Spencers, who have had close relationships with the royal family for generations.
Another individual suggested that the couple may be considering a name change due to the possibility of their titles being removed.
They speculate that the couple wants to disconnect from the royal family, and changing their name to Spencer would be a way to do so.
A third person noted that the Sussex brand is “muddy,” and therefore, it may make sense for the couple to change their name.
However, they questioned whether Harry understands that if he changes his name to Spencer, it would mean goodbye to all titles and the line of succession.
After all, the line of succession is based on his connection to the Windsor family, not the Spencer family.
Despite the rumours, not everyone believes that Harry and Meghan will change their surname.
