The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, are reportedly planning to announce their move to Windsor in the coming weeks.

According to royal expert Angela Levin, the couple is actively considering relocating to be closer to Kate’s family and to support the Queen.

While the move may have already taken place, it is speculated that the official announcement might be delayed until December.

Speaking on GB News, Levin stated, “I think they have either sorted it so they can announce it next week.

Or they might leave it until the Christmas holiday.

Which is not ideal but then so much has happened with the Royal family, you can’t do everything at once.”

She acknowledged the challenges involved in changing schools and moving, especially for the children, suggesting that a temporary move to London might be an option.

However, she also noted that living in Kensington Palace would be comfortable for the family.

Levin emphasized that William and Kate’s decision to move is driven by their strong commitment to their family.

“I am quite sure that underlying it all is the fact that they care very much about their family,” she said.

Despite the Queen’s public stoicism, Levin believes that having her grandchildren and great-grandchildren around her will bring her solace in private.

“Even though the Queen looks absolutely stoic and heroic when we see her out and about in bright colours, seeming very positive.

There must be very deep and dark patches when she is alone without her late husband.

After 70 years together it must be extraordinarily difficult,” Levin explained.

The royal expert further expressed her belief that the move is not only a positive one but also a practical decision.

“They’re happy to move near her.

I mean, children are wonderful.

Small children are wonderful to take people’s mind off dark things.

And I think it would be, it is a very, very positive move.
