Blake Lively calls s-x scene with Ben Affleck “Awkward”
Blake Lively said that a s=x scene she filmed with Ben Affleck was “really awkward.”
Ben, who both directs and stars in the movie (The Town), as he revealed that the 22-year-old was “very poised and comfortable” about the sequence and that she acted “more mature than some of the crew members”.
Lively’s secret?
“Well, I have a big family and no one ever treated me like a child,” she explains. “They always treated me like an adult, like an equal. But with acting, I think half of it is just acting confident. We stand on these red carpets and pose in these dresses, but we’re all only so confident. It doesn’t mean we think we’re great looking or anything. It’s all a facade. But the sex scene was really awkward. It was my first day, so thank you for that.”
“Everybody is like, ‘There’s a steamy scene…’ and I’m like, ‘Really? You have a very dark life that I don’t want to ask you about!'” Blake joked.

The actress said her interactions with Ben’s character are everything but sexy.
“It’s awkward, it’s unromantic and it’s also very tragic in a lot of ways because these are two people that hate each other and they’re stuck in this rut,” Blake stated.
“It was my first day of shooting and if that’s not an ice breaker I don’t know what is?!” she laughed.
Blake expressed her gratitude for the scene’s lack of exploitation and ability to convey the couple’s characters’ gloom.
“It wasn’t there to be a gratuitous s-x scene for the trailer or to get guys to watch this movie, it’s actually a turn off for the audience, everybody around and for us,” she added.
The actress, according to Affleck, acted “more mature than some of the crew members.”
We’re not shocked that Blake behaved that way on the movie set since it was previously said that she thought her Gossip Girl co-stars were too juvenile .
