Archwell Website Neglected as Harry and Meghan Markle’s Troubles Mount

The website for Harry and Meghan Markle’s business venture, Archwell, has not seen any updates in nearly two months.

This development follows the recent announcement that the couple was dropped by Spotify, potentially resulting in the loss of an £18 million payout.

Archwell Audio, the content creation label owned by the Sussexes, confirmed the termination of their partnership with the streaming giant through a joint statement.

However, this statement is conspicuously absent from the Archwell website, which still boasts about their now-defunct podcast deal.

Under an exclusive partnership, Archwell Audio previously highlighted its collaboration with Spotify and its vast global reach, including 180 million premium subscribers and 406 million monthly active users.

The website, which usually publishes news updates three to four times a month, has remained stagnant since May 15th.

Royal fans promptly noticed this oversight and took to social media to voice their concerns.

One user questioned, “Why haven’t they updated anything in months?”

Another remarked, “The Archwell website hasn’t been updated since May 15th, and many pages won’t even load.”

A third individual added, “It still says they work with Spotify.

They’re a bit behind the game.”

Even royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams has expressed curiosity about the lack of updates on the website.

He pondered, “Why are they so quiet at the moment?

What is going on?

It really does seem that they’re brewing something up.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we had an announcement from them very soon.

What we’re all waiting for is the Sussexes’ fight back.”

While the couple has indeed lost their Spotify deal, there are also rumors circulating that they may lose their agreement with Netflix.

Additionally, their recent attempt to trademark the name of their podcast was rejected by the US Patent Office, further fueling speculation about the lack of website updates.

The Archwell website was launched on New Year’s Eve in 2020, and some royal fans believe that it serves as a means for the couple to receive financial contributions.

Critics argue that Harry and Meghan can retain 95% of the funds received and charge expenses to the foundation without disclosing the donors.

Last month, French network France 2 aired a documentary that investigated the questionable practices of Archwell.

The documentary revealed that the foundation spent as much money on operational fees as it did on charitable giving.

Furthermore, investigators who visited the Archwell offices discovered that the space was completely empty, with no employees working for the couple.

During the visit, it was disclosed that the office was actually the couple’s lawyer’s office, not their primary workspace.

According to the non-profit’s 2021 tax filing, Harry and Meghan reportedly each dedicated just one hour per week to the Archwell foundation after stepping down from their royal duties.

This amounts to a meager total of 52 hours of work per year for each of them.

The lack of updates on the website, coupled with these revelations, has led to speculation about the couple’s commitment to their business venture.

As the Sussexes face mounting challenges, including the loss of Spotify and potential setbacks with Netflix, it remains to be seen how they will respond.

Despite the apparent cracks in their empire, some believe that Harry and Meghan are biding their time, preparing to make a comeback.

The rejection of their trademark application by the US Patent Office may have played a role in the lack of updates on the Archwell website.
