US Diplomatic Security Wishes Prince William Happy Birthday, Takes Dig at Meghan and Harry

The US Diplomatic Security Service has tweeted a happy birthday message to Prince William, who turned 41 on Wednesday.

The tweet was accompanied by a photo of William and Kate taken in Boston last year with a burly operative.

The Diplomatic Security Service is responsible for providing protective security detail when senior royals, government officials, diplomats, and other VIPs visit the United States.

Interestingly, Prince William and Princess Catherine are the only two people the service wished a happy birthday to in 2023.

This gesture has raised eyebrows, with many speculating that it’s an unsubtle dig at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who are suing the UK Home Office for security issues.

Trending:

It seems that the American security services rarely indulge in frivolities, and Harry and Meghan have found to their cost that they cannot assume that US police would guard them in California.

The tweet has further highlighted the contrast between the Sussexes and the Cambridges.

William and Catherine are seen as people who are grateful for provided security and are respectful of receiving it.

They don’t come off as people who’d act snotty towards those who are providing service and making them welcome.

Regarding Harry’s security in the US, what no one seems to be calling him out on is that he can actually hire armed police in the United States paid by the hour.

However, it seems that he doesn’t want to pay for it.

Harry wants free police to make them feel important.

He thinks he needs security everywhere because he’s so very important.

Sorry, no.

Paid personal security is available to anyone in the US.

Anyone with the cash can hire bodyguards.

You don’t have to be a VIP or in physical danger.

For some wannabes, it’s to try to look important.

If you can pay, then why not?

But Harry thinks he’s entitled to it just because he’s Harry and he’s been comped his entire life for everything.

This is another symptom of his deep-seated delusion of grandeur, as he actually thinks he’s a world leader.

Prince Harry reportedly pitched Spotify a podcast concept in which he would interview the likes of Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump, and Mark Zuckerberg about their childhood traumas.

The Duke of Sussex’s far-fetched idea left executives feeling puzzled, according to sources with direct knowledge of the situation.

This has led many to wonder what could have been if Harry had more maturity, wisdom, humility, and self-awareness.

If the world had a different Harry, one that had these qualities, then a good podcast would have been to talk to other people who not only experienced loss but grew and achieved some good because of it.

For example, imagine if Prince William did a podcast like this.

The entire focus would be on his guest, and William would be engaged and interested in what they have to say.

If the conversation turned to William for too long, he’d gently redirect it back to his guest.

The conversation would have substance without word salad, and the public could see that there’s some hope and goodness that can sprout from a loved one’s death.

It would be something that leaves the listener feeling better after they heard it.

In conclusion, the US Diplomatic Security Service’s birthday message to Prince William has highlighted the contrast between the Cambridges and the Sussexes.

While William and Catherine are seen as grateful for provided security and respectful of receiving it, Harry and Meghan seem to think they’re entitled to free police protection.
