Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have reportedly expressed their belief that external factors are to blame for their struggles in finding success after stepping down from their senior royal duties.

According to a source in Los Angeles, the couple feels that they have been extremely unlucky in their endeavors, as stated in the Daily Mail on Saturday.

They attribute their difficulties to the impact of Covid-19, the global economic recession, and the unfortunate deaths of Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth II, which have hindered their attempts to establish themselves in the private sector.

In January 2020, the Duke, aged 38, and Duchess, aged 41, made the decision to relinquish their senior royal roles, just months before the world was hit by the coronavirus pandemic and subsequently forced into lockdown.

In March 2021, they made headlines with a revealing interview conducted by Oprah Winfrey, where they openly expressed their dissatisfaction with the royal family.

One particularly distressing revelation was an allegation that an unnamed member of the family had raised concerns about the skin color of their son, Archie, prior to his birth.

Tragedy struck again when Prince Philip passed away at the age of 99, a month after the interview aired.

Then, in August 2022, Markle launched his podcast, Archetypes, which unfortunately coincided with the untimely death of Queen Elizabeth II the following month.

Despite the podcast receiving positive ratings, Spotify announced in June that they would no longer be collaborating with the Duke and Duchess, as they felt that the couple did not produce enough content to justify their $20 million deal.

This news came shortly after Spotify had made the decision to cut 200 jobs as part of cost-saving measures.

Moreover, insiders revealed that Spotify was perplexed by some of Prince Harry’s suggestions for other podcast ideas.

The Duke had reportedly conducted interviews with notable figures such as Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump, and Mark Zuckerberg, focusing on their childhood traumas.

Spotify employees found it questionable that individuals like Putin, aged 70, and Zuckerberg, aged 39, who rarely discuss their personal lives, would be willing to participate in such interviews.

Furthermore, Spotify executive Bill Simmons criticized the couple, labeling them as lazy grifters on his podcast.

Simmons, who is also the head of international sports content at Spotify, did not hold back in his assessment.

Despite facing criticism, Prince Harry remains undeterred and determined to forge ahead.

Exclusive reports have emerged stating that he intends to film a documentary series in Africa for Netflix.
