This revelation comes from experts who have meticulously assessed the worth of the royal family’s priceless jewelry.
The Imperial State Crown is exclusively worn by the reigning monarch during their coronation ceremony at Westminster Abbey.
Crafted with utmost precision, this awe-inspiring headpiece is made of pure gold and adorned with an astonishing array of diamonds.
Intricately designed, the Imperial State Crown boasts an astounding 2,868 diamonds, along with 17 sapphires, 11 emeralds, 269 pearls, and 4 rubies.

However, it is important to note that only the current king or queen has the privilege to wear this magnificent crown.
As a result, Prince William is set to be the next member of the royal family to don this remarkable piece of jewelry, as it cannot be worn by Kate, Princess of Wales, as it belongs solely to the reigning monarch.
Nevertheless, the Princess of Wales has had the honor of wearing the Nism of Hyderabad necklace, which is the second most valuable item in the royal collection.
This exquisite necklace was presented to Queen Elizabeth as a wedding gift and is estimated to be worth a staggering £66.3 million.
It holds a special place in the late queen’s heart, as it was given to her by the Nism of Hyderabad on the occasion of her engagement to Philip Mountbatten in 1947, five years before she ascended to the throne.
Experts reveal that the Nism of Hyderabad necklace, adorned with over 50 diamonds set in platinum, has been featured in numerous portraits of the queen prior to her coronation.
Furthermore, it has been loaned to the Princess of Wales on several occasions in recent years.
In 2014, at a notable event held at the National Portrait Gallery in London, Kate wore this remarkable necklace for the first time.
