Sarah Ferguson, the former daughter-in-law of Queen Elizabeth, made her first appearance since the Queen’s death last week.

She joined her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, to view the beautiful tributes left by visitors in Windsor.

Prince Andrew was seen admiring the carpet of flowers on the castle grounds, while Sarah stooped down to check the flowers and read the messages left there.

Every night, thousands of flowers are transported from the long walk leading up to the castle and placed inside the grounds.

Earlier this morning, Prince Andrew quietly admired the tributes.

However, Sarah did not accompany her daughters on the Balmoral walkabout earlier this week, nor did she join the funeral procession from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall on Wednesday.

Reports suggest that she has been invited to the funeral on Monday.

Despite her absence from royal events since the Queen’s passing, Sarah Ferguson shared a heartfelt tribute on social media.

She expressed her heartbreak over the loss of the Queen and praised her extraordinary legacy of duty, service, and steadfastness.

Sarah described the Queen as an incredible mother-in-law and friend, expressing her gratitude for the Queen’s continued support even after her divorce.

Regarding Sarah’s absence since the Queen’s death, royal expert Shannon Felton-Spence stated that she will be attending the funeral, but her seating arrangement will be interesting.

As she is no longer an official member of the royal family, it is unlikely that she will be sitting next to Prince Andrew.

The recent vehicle procession following the Queen’s coffin to Westminster Hall highlighted the reality of their divorced status.

Another royal expert, Hilary Fordwich, explained that even if Sarah and Prince Andrew were still married, her role in the funeral preparations would not be prominent.

Fordwich emphasized that only current spouses have prominent roles in such events.

However, she acknowledged that Sarah and Prince Andrew, despite being divorced, have a good relationship and Sarah has been supportive of him.

Sarah and Prince Andrew were married for 10 years before their divorce in 1996.

Despite the divorce, Sarah has remained at the Royal Lodge in Windsor with the Duke.

In the past, she referred to them as the happiest divorced couple in the world, as they shared a house but had separate quarters.

Sarah has expressed continued support for Prince Andrew, particularly after he stepped down from active royal duties.

Sarah Ferguson has been involved in various scandals involving the British royal family.

One notable incident was a photo surfacing of her having her toes sucked by her financial advisor in France.

She also had a well-known falling out with Prince Philip and did not attend his funeral or the memorial service.

However, Sarah had a closer relationship with Queen Elizabeth, possibly due to her strained relationship with her own mother.

The Duchess of York’s mother died in a car crash in 1998, after divorcing Sarah’s father and remarrying.

Sarah has often praised Queen Elizabeth as a mother figure and mentor, appreciating her consistency and steadfastness.

She has also been supportive of the Queen following the Duke’s death last year.

Royal watchers believe that the Queen, who had a soft spot for Sarah, was more open to her returning to a prominent role within the royal family after the Duke’s passing.

Sarah recently vowed to stand by Prince Andrew after he faced controversies and was stripped of his military roles and patronages.

She described him as a very good and kind man and emphasized their strong friendship and communication.

In an interview, Sarah expressed her gratitude that their daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, have Prince Andrew in their lives.

She spoke fondly of their wedding day in 1986, describing it as an exceptional and extraordinary day.

Sarah Ferguson’s presence alongside Prince Andrew to pay tribute to the late Queen shows her continued connection to the royal family and her support for her ex-husband during this difficult time.
