Rita Moreno says Marlon Brando was much better in bed than Elvis Presley

Rita Moreno has practically lived the life we all wish for, with parts in such masterpieces as West Side Story, The King and I, and more. Her renowned acting career has spanned nearly 70 years (and she’s EGOT-ed — an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and a Tony or two all reside in Moreno’s home).

If her remarkable resume wasn’t enough, the Puerto Rican triple threat also had a lustrous love life. Two of the greatest s-x icons of all time, Marlon Brando and Elvis Presley, have been featured in her love life.

Moreno recalls how fantastic the Academy Award-winning iconoclast was in bed, but not simply because of their mutual attraction, in an appearance on “The Wendy Williams Show”.

Brando, it turns out, transferred some of his acting characteristics into the bedroom, igniting American screens in the 1950s with his tight Stanley Kowalski T-shirts and emotionally raw manner of acting.

“[Brando] slayed me good ’cause he was the king of everything. Eeeeeeverything,” Moreno, 86, told Wendy Williams on Thursday. “He was the king of movies … he was really one of the most s-xual men on Earth. It was one of those very tempestuous love affairs. It lasted eight years, on and off, on and off, on and off.”

The couple dated on and off for eight years, spanning his three marriages (and the births of at least three of his eleven children), until calling it quits in 1961. After Brando had orchestrated an illegal abortion for her when she fell pregnant with his kid, Moreno overdosed on sleeping pills seeking “an escape-from-pain death,” as she put it in her 2013 memoir.

But Moreno wasn’t the only king with whom he had a close relationship. She got a call from Elvis Presley’s manager after learning that Brando was cheating on her, claiming that the singer would want to see her. Moreno said that she agreed to meet with Presley after seeing another woman’s undergarments at Brando’s place.

And it enrages Brando, much to her delight. “That man threw chairs – it was wonderful!”

“I couldn’t stay away,” Moreno said in her memoir. “In fact, I was becoming addicted to the challenge of winning him over and over again… I knew no one could possibly make Marlon Brando more jealous (than Presley).”

Moreno informed Williams that her time with “sweet fellow” Presley was “amateur night,” despite the fact that he appeared at precisely the perfect time to get a date.

What wasn’t wonderful? Moreno’s lust for Presley pales in contrast to her passion for Brando. “That’s like a 2-year-old and the king,” she said.

She went on to say that Presley wasn’t exactly a bedtime hero. “Come on, amateur night, Elvis Presley and Marlon Brando.”

Moreno earlier stated that her 45-year-old husband, Leonard Gordon, was her life’s love, but that Brando was her passion.
