Queen Rania and Crown Prince Hussain of Jordan are still basking in the joy of their son’s recent wedding to Princess Rajwa.

The royal couple took to social media to share new photos from the extravagant ceremony, which took place in Oman on Thursday.

In a series of Instagram posts, Queen Rania, 52, shared 20 captivating shots that captured the essence of the Islamic marriage ceremony at Zahran Palace.

Queen Rania expressed her well wishes for the newlyweds, writing, “May God bless you both and fill your home with love and happiness.”

The second carousel provided a glimpse behind the scenes, featuring family pictures of the bride and groom.

Queen Rania and King Abdullah, who are proud parents to Crown Prince Hussain, 28, Princess Iman, 26, Princess Salma, 22, and Prince Hashm, 18, were seen in sweet moments with their children.

The photos depicted Iman hugging her father, Rania and Salma enjoying drinks together, and a wider group shot.

The final set of photos showcased the Jordanian royals at the banquet, which was attended by 1,700 guests.

It was here that Princess Rajwa made a memorable entrance in a surprise second dress.

Queen Rania captioned the images, “From last night’s dinner banquet in celebration of Hussain and Rajwa,” and included a photo of herself and King Abdullah with the newlyweds and Rajwa’s parents, Khalid Al-Sif and Azhar Al-Sudairi.

Notably, they also greeted esteemed guests like Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Queen Rania herself underwent a wardrobe change for the evening’s festivities, donning a stunning beaded beige and cream cape dress by Elie Saab, who also designed Princess Rajwa’s first wedding dress.

Princess Iman and Princess Salma followed suit, changing into glittering dresses.

All three royal women adorned their looks with diamond tiaras, which was likely a special moment for Salma and the bride, as it marked Salma’s first time wearing a tiara.

Meanwhile, Crown Prince Hussain expressed his love and gratitude for his new wife in a heartfelt Instagram post.

He shared a formal portrait of the couple taken at Zahran Palace, accompanied by a caption that read, “God has blessed me with Rajwa, the light of my life and my lifelong companion.

May our marriage bring us both peace and warmth.

I pray that God continues to bless us.”

He also extended his thanks to everyone who celebrated with them, both from Jordan and around the world.

After announcing their engagement in August 2022, Crown Prince Hussain and Rajwa officially tied the knot in a religious ceremony presided over by Dr. Ahmed Al-Khalileh, Imam of the Royal Hashemite Court.

The intimate ceremony was attended by 140 people, including family members, dignitaries, and royalty from various countries.

Following the service, the couple signed a marriage contract and exchanged rings before embarking on a grand motorcade to the Al-Hussainiyah Palace reception.

Shortly after the ceremony, the Royal Hashemite Court announced that Rajwa had been bestowed with a royal title.

A royal decree was issued, officially recognizing her as Her Royal Highness Princess Rajwa Al-Hussain.

This honor was granted on the occasion of her marriage to Crown Prince Al-Hussain Hashj Jordan.

The wedding of Crown Prince Hussain and Princess Rajwa was truly a spectacle, filled with love, joy, and regal elegance.

The photos shared by Queen Rania and Crown Prince Hussain offer a glimpse into the beauty and grandeur of this royal celebration.
