Princess Charlotte, the 7-year-old granddaughter of King Charles, has expressed her desire for a playdate with 8-year-old Charlotte Rose Hickson, and Queen Camilla has pledged to make it happen.

This delightful request came to light during Queen Camilla’s visit to the Storm Family Centre in Battersea, London, on Thursday.

The 75-year-old Queen Consort was attending the event to commemorate the charity’s 19th anniversary.

The organization provides support services to community members of all ages and aids victims of domestic violence.

According to The Independent in Pennsylvania, during the visit, Princess Charlotte received a message from Charlotte Rose Hickson, who attended the ceremony as a guest with her father Wayne Hickson.

Wayne revealed that his daughter’s note read, “‘Princess Charlotte, I’m 8 years old and my name is Charlotte Rose.’

It mentioned her primary school, our address, and asked if she would like to go on a playdate.

‘Here is my phone number, perhaps you will call,’ it concluded,” added Charlotte Rose.

Wayne shared that his daughter came up with the invitation idea a few weeks ago and mustered the courage to deliver the letter to Queen Camilla, who graciously accepted it.

Camilla even told Charlotte Rose that she liked her dress and assured her that she would pass on the note.

Excited about the possibility of meeting Princess Charlotte, Charlotte Rose said, “‘She promised to give Charlotte my note, so I’m hopeful she’ll agree, but you never know.

I’m going to her house, I think in line with hello.'”

During her visit to the Storm Family Centre, Queen Camilla also met with Marie Hansen, the founder of Storm, spent time with survivors, and familiarized herself with the center’s programs, which include candle-making and computer training.

She even tried her hand at painting on canvas, signing the corner with the initials CR, representing Camilla Regina, Regina meaning Queen in Latin.

In a statement reported by Hello, Queen Camilla commended the Storm team and their objectives, saying, “I want to express my sincere gratitude for everything you do to stop domestic violence and abuse against women.

I’ve visited many centers across the nation, but rarely have I seen one as active and beneficial to the community as this.”

She expressed her appreciation to all those who have contributed to Marie’s mission and conveyed her feelings of honor and fortune for having visited the center.

Supporting individuals who have experienced domestic abuse and violence has always been a key focus of Queen Camilla’s public service.

In the fall, she made a significant solo outing as Queen Consort to a hospital unit for victims of domestic abuse.

This recent interaction with young Charlotte Rose Hickson further demonstrates Queen Camilla’s commitment to connecting with those affected by domestic violence and making a difference in their lives.
