Princess Beatrice Enjoys Glastonbury Festival Ahead of Elton John’s Final UK Show
Princess Beatrice was spotted unwinding and embracing the last day of the Glastonbury Festival, just before Elton John’s final UK performance.
Joined by her husband Eduardo Mappalimosi, the Princess Royal arrived on Sunday afternoon, ready to revel in the annual music extravaganza.
She warmly greeted friends with hugs before making her way towards the left field area.
It is worth noting that Princess Beatrice attended the festival last year, where she encountered a slight mishap in the VIP section.
The couple’s presence at the festival can be linked to Elton John’s closing set, marking the end of his farewell UK tour.

Last night, Elton John delivered a headline performance that will go down in history as one of the festival’s finest.
The Pyramid Stage’s backstage area was graced by esteemed guests, including actors Taron Egerton, Andrew Garfield, and Paul McCartney, who all came together for the ultimate festival finale.
However, conspicuously absent were Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who seem to have retreated from public appearances.
Perhaps they had difficulty securing transportation?
While the Royal Family has frequently made appearances at the festival, with Princess Eugenie attending in 2016 and Prince Harry snapped with then-girlfriend Cressida Bonas in 2013, Prince Charles and Princess Diana have never made the trip to Somerset.
Despite expressing interest in attending in the past, Prince William mentioned in a 2017 BBC interview that attending concerts can be quite challenging for him.
Prince Harry and Elton John, on the other hand, found themselves embroiled in a tense disagreement during their holiday together.
The dispute arose when it was revealed that Elton had spoken to the Daily Mail about Harry.
In his book “Spare,” Harry recounted congratulating Elton on completing his memoir, but the atmosphere quickly turned chilly when Elton mentioned its serialization in the Daily Mail.
Harry expressed his disappointment, questioning why Elton would choose a publication that had made his life miserable.
Elton simply stated that he wanted people to read it, leaving Harry without a response.
Despite the tension, Harry chose not to push the matter further, as he cherished their friendship and didn’t want to spoil their holiday.
In more recent times, Harry and Meghan were not invited to Elton’s renowned Oscars party.
It seems that Elton and his spouse have distanced themselves from the couple, but Harry and Meghan continue to associate with them, perhaps due to the limited number of A-list individuals who still maintain ties with them.
In January 2020, Harry and Meghan made headlines by announcing their decision to step back from their roles within the royal family.
Prior to this pivotal moment, Sir Elton had been a pillar of support for the couple, speaking with them daily for months.
A close source to Elton revealed to the Mirror that he was aware of their decision long before even the late Queen, offering unwavering support during their challenging period.
The source stated that while Elton would never dictate their choices, he provided a listening ear and a source of strength throughout.
However, a spokesperson for Elton informed Mail Online that he was still taken aback by the news, learning about their plans at the same time as the rest of the world, when the announcement was posted on their Instagram account.
