Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, has made a significant move by uprooting his family from London and settling in a four-bedroom cottage in Windsor.
While this may seem like a step back for someone who has grown up in palaces and mansions, experts have spoken exclusively to shed light on how the Prince of Wales will handle this new amendment.
The Prince and Princess of Wales, along with their three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis – are now living in Adelaide Cottage, a charming four-bedroom cottage on the grounds of Windsor Castle.
This cottage was once home to Captain Peter Townsend, former boyfriend of Princess Margaret.

The country house was built in 1831 and is often described as a relaxing getaway.

She claimed that while the four-bedroom residence may look like a retreat from the 20-room flat 1A at Kensington Palace, a country house would allow for more privacy and independence compared to life in central London, while also remaining only 25 miles from the English capital.
It is difficult to say how the children will feel about the move, however, moving to a smaller residence would allow the family a normal family life away from the tourism brought by Kensington Palace.
Children will enjoy the opportunity to play on the courts without being watched by the public, something they were unable to do at Kensington Palace, while also being so close to the vast grounds of Windsor Castle.
Whether Adelaide Cottage will be a temporary home for Wales is unclear, according to Mrs. Duckworth.
However, the family intends to keep their residence at Kensington Palace, as well as their home in Norfolk and Moor Hall.
Therefore, we can assume that they still intend to stay in their other homes when they need to in work or life.
Prince William has lived at Kensington Palace since he was a little boy, moving around now and then but always finding his own residence.
It is possible that he might once again embrace commuting from this central destination within the capital.
Lady Duckworth explained whether the Prince of Wales would have found adjusting to living at Adelaide Cottage easy given he had grown up in such grand homes as Kensington Palace, Clarence House, and Highgrove House.
