When Prince William was recently seen enjoying a night out at the famous Coco nightclub in Camden, it reminded us of the times when the Royal Brothers would party together.

Despite their recent drift apart, there is one man who has the potential to bring them back together – Guy Pelly, a former nightclub owner and a long-time friend of both William and Harry.

Guy Pelly first met Prince William when he joined the Beaufort Hunt hunting club as a junior member at the age of 13 in 2001.

While William and Harry attended Eaton College, Guy received his education at Stowe School in Buckinghamshire.

Over time, Guy formed a close bond with William, and their friendship eventually extended to include Harry during his wilder days as the party prince.

In 2001, Guy’s association with Prince Harry made headlines when he was accused of introducing him to cannabis and underage drinking.

However, it was later revealed that Guy had nothing to do with Harry’s experimentation, and the scandal actually brought him closer to the Royal Family.

Despite demands for the princes to cut ties with Guy, they remained loyal to their friend.

Throughout the years, Guy Pelly’s name frequently appeared alongside Prince William’s in nightclub photos.

As a former nightclub owner himself, Guy’s influence on William’s social life was evident.

He even organized William’s Stag do in 2011 and owned several nightclubs, including the famous Mahiki in Kensington, as well as Public, Whiskey Mist, and Tonteria in West London.

Not only does Guy have a strong friendship with William, but he also maintains a close relationship with Prince Harry.

Their bond was further solidified when Guy attended Harry’s father’s memorial service after his sudden death, while William chose to skip the late Queen’s Christmas lunch in 2015 to support his friend.

Despite reports of strained friendships after Harry’s marriage to Meghan Markle, Guy Pelly remained firmly in the Royal fold.

In 2020, he visited the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in California, accompanied by his wife, Elizabeth Wilson, and their daughter, Willow, highlighting Harry’s desire to reconnect with Guy.

Guy’s own wedding to Elizabeth and Harry’s holiday with Cressida Bonas created some tension between Harry and his then-girlfriend.

Disagreements over finances and wedding arrangements led to the end of their two-year romance.

However, Guy’s friendship with both brothers endured.

Known for his fun-loving and mischievous nature, Guy Pelly has earned a reputation as the Royal jester.

However, he has never used his connection with the Royal family for personal gain, rejecting numerous television appearances and remaining tight-lipped about his friendship with the princes.

Guy Pelly’s unique position as a long-standing friend of both Prince William and Prince Harry makes him an important figure in potentially bridging the gap between the brothers.

With his history and shared experiences with both princes, Guy may play a vital role in bringing them closer together once again, reminding them of the bonds forged in their youth and the enduring camaraderie they share.
