The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are dealing with a bullying investigation and Archewell trademark issues, but the Royal Family backlash is their biggest worry.

Since leaving the royal family, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have taken on plenty of initiatives and business ventures, but the Duke of Cambridge is allegedly concerned about what lies ahead.

According to reports, William is waiting to see what the Sussexes will do next, as one expert advises Harry that pursuing his intentions to create a US-based empire risks exacerbating his brother’s resentment.

Duncan Larcombe, a royal author, argues the pair should avoid “cashing in on the brand” by “constantly talking about the royals” in their new ventures.

The Royal Family is waiting for their next move as the dust settles on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s bombshell appearance with Oprah Winfrey, Duncan told OK!

In the wake of rumors that Harry and Meghan are planning to become “influencers,” Prince William said he is “dreading” their next step.

The Sussexes have struck multi-million-pound deals with Netflix and Spotify since leaving the royal family, and Meghan has published her own children’s book.

“What do they do next? That’s a question Prince William is dreading the answer to.” Duncan Larcombe, a royal analyst, told OK!

“Ultimately, they have to find a way to do their work in LA while not trading on the royal brand.

“Prince Harry hasn’t exactly been subtle.

“He’s revealed to the world that he pretty much hates his family and the whole system is rotten to the core, but by continually talking about the royals, they’re cashing in on the brand.

“If they spend their whole careers selling that royal brand, they’ll never speak to William again.”

If Prince Harry keeps selling the royal brand while publicly criticizing his family, he risks further weakening his relationship with his brother.

Their long-term goal, according to the couple’s former chief of staff, is to become “social-impact influencers.”

Following their retirement from royal duties last year, Prince Harry and Meghan now reside in a $15 million California home, according to the Daily Star.

They’ve been criticising the monarchy since then, including in a shocking interview with US TV personality Oprah Winfrey.

The interview shocked the royal family, prompting the Queen to issue a brief but strong statement stating that “recollections may vary.”

Catherine St-Laurent, the couple’s previous head of staff, resigned in March after less than a year on the job.

Her former employers, she says, are “incredibly talented and creative” and “have the potential to be very influential leaders in the social impact space.”

“It was an incredible experience. The time I spent with them was fulfilling,” Catherine said.
