Prince Harry’s Memoir Reveals Deep Resentment Towards Royal Family
Prince Harry has recently announced the title of his upcoming memoir, “Spare,” which delves into his personal experiences and sheds light on the strong resentment he holds against the royal family.
The book uncovers various stories that highlight the bitterness Harry harbors, particularly towards his father, Prince Charles.
One of the most significant grievances that Harry expresses in his memoir is directed towards his father.
Charles bestowed upon his son the nickname “spare” on the day he was born, a term used to describe the secondary role of an additional heir.

Harry also recounts his annoyance with his father’s marriage to Camilla Parker Bowles.
According to Harry, he tried to dissuade Charles from the wedding, fearing that Camilla would become a harsh and unsupportive stepmother.
Additionally, Harry felt hurt when Camilla transformed his childhood room into her dressing room without seeking his permission.
Furthermore, Harry blames Camilla for at least one media leak about the royal family.
The Duke of Sussex was deeply hurt when his father forbade him from attending Queen Elizabeth’s funeral alongside his wife, Meghan Markle.
In a phone conversation, Harry passionately defended Meghan, only to be met with a dismissive response from Charles.
The prince recalls Charles stating that no one’s wife, not even Kate Middleton, would be allowed to attend the funeral, as he wanted to avoid a large gathering of people.
The strained relationship between Harry and his older brother, Prince William, is also revealed in the memoir.
From the start, William expressed skepticism towards Meghan Markle.
When Harry expressed his hopes of the four of them spending time together, William cautioned him to be wary, citing Meghan’s background as an American actress.
This disagreement escalated into a heated argument, with William resorting to physical aggression by grabbing Harry by the collar and throwing him to the floor.
However, William later apologized for his actions.
Harry acknowledges that the tension between him and William existed long before Meghan entered the picture.
