A recent visitor to Clarence House, the London residence of King Charles and Queen Camilla, has revealed that photos of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle still hold a prominent place in the house.

According to the Daily Express US, these cherished family snaps are displayed alongside other treasured photographs.

It is no secret that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have had a strained relationship with Charles III since stepping down from their working royal roles in March 2020.

The situation worsened after their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021, where they made shocking revelations about the royal family.

The release of their Netflix documentary series further added fuel to the fire.

In addition, Harry’s tell-all memoir and promotional interviews created more tension, as he made damning revelations about senior royals, including Prince William and Queen Camilla.

Despite the strained relations, King Charles has repeatedly tried to reconcile with his younger son and daughter-in-law.

Just this month, he shared a heartwarming Father’s Day tribute photo featuring himself, Prince William, and Prince Harry fishing together in Scotland when they were teenagers.

This gesture shows the King’s efforts to mend the family ties.

The visitor who spoke to The Telegraph expressed surprise that the photos of Harry and Meghan have not been moved or hidden away.

They also noted that, based on outward appearances, the family still seems happy.

This suggests that despite the public tension, there may be a desire to maintain a sense of unity within the family.

Last month, keen observers noticed a touching picture of the two princes in full military uniform during an audience held by the King at Buckingham Palace.

This further indicates that Charles keeps reminders of his younger brother close at hand, despite any personal differences they may have.

In a video released in May showcasing Kensington Palace, the home of the Prince and Princess of Wales, images of William and Harry can be seen on display.

The video, released in honor of the coronation, shows Princess Charlotte running through the room to join her youngest brother, Prince Louis, as they look outside.

Along the way, she passes a grand piano adorned with family photos.
