Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Face Monetary Risks if They Turn Their Backs on the Royals

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been cautioned about the potential financial consequences of completely distancing themselves from the royal family.

Edward Coram James, a PR professional and the CEO of GoUp, emphasized that their connection to the royals is what keeps them relevant.

According to Mr. Coram James, if they abandon their royal status, they not only lose their value and relevance but also jeopardize the financial support they need to establish themselves as successful entrepreneurs.

Despite stepping down from their royal duties and relocating 5,500 miles away, the Sussexes still feel the need to maintain certain royal traditions.

This might explain their decision to accept royal patterns for their children while still preserving their own unique identity.

However, their acceptance of the coronation invitation, which is currently pending as of April 6, is of particular interest.

Mr. Coram James believes it is expected for members of the royal family to attend once-in-a-lifetime coronations, and Harry and Meghan should be no exception.

He predicts that the Sussexes will make an appearance at the upcoming event.

So far, the couple has not made any significant public appearances.

Meghan had a successful acting career on a popular TV show, but that was several years ago.

Similarly, Harry had a distinguished military career, but it no longer holds the same influence today.

The PR professional also mentioned the couple’s filmography successes, which have often relied on royal scandals for attention.

Productions that deviate from this formula tend to perform poorly.

For instance, Meghan’s animated series Pearl failed to gain traction.

These observations highlight the importance of the couple’s connection to the royal family in shaping their popularity and success.

In January, during an ITV interview coinciding with the release of Spare, Harry was asked if he would attend the coronation.

While he did not provide a definitive answer, he suggested that the decision lies with him and Meghan.

He also expressed his desire to reconcile with his family in the future.

Last month, Prince Harry and Meghan confirmed that they received an invitation to the coronation via email.

However, it has been reported that their two children, three-year-old Archie and one-year-old Lilibet, have not been included in the invitation.

Interestingly, Archie will be celebrating his fourth birthday on the same day as the coronation.

This adds another layer of significance to the day for the Sussex family.
