Former royal editor Duncan Larcombe has urged Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to embrace the life they have chosen and put an end to their ongoing criticism of the royal family.

Since stepping down as senior royals in March 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have taken several jabs at the monarchy.

Larcombe believes it is time for Harry to resolve any issues with Meghan and start enjoying their chosen path without resorting to public airing of grievances.

Larcombe pointed out that Meghan has achieved everything and more than she could have ever dreamed of, while Harry has given up everything.

However, his anger and emotions continue to spill out on a daily basis.

Larcombe emphasized the need for Harry to find a balance between expressing himself and respecting his new life without subjecting the royal family to further scrutiny.

Throughout 2021, Prince Harry has made several pointed remarks about his family, particularly targeting his father, Prince Charles, during interviews with Oprah Winfrey and on the Armchair Expert podcast.

Royal commentator Katie Nicholl observed that Prince Harry seems content with the reception his explosive remarks have received.

She expressed shock at how far he went in discussing the pain and suffering he endured during his childhood within the royal family, especially in relation to Prince Charles’ parenting.

Nicholl further stated that the podcast raised eyebrows within the palace, as instead of building bridges, Prince Harry openly criticized his father and possibly even his grandparents.

This level of criticism was unexpected and surprising.

She added that this recent podcast, along with the Oprah interview, has been well-received by Prince Harry, despite the anticipated backlash from the British press.

The last time Prince Harry had a face-to-face encounter with his family was at his grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral in April 2021.

Following the ceremony, he was seen engaging in conversation with his brother, Prince William, and sister-in-law, Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge.
