Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Bid Farewell to Frogmore Cottage: A Look Back at Their Time in the UK
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have officially moved out of Frogmore Cottage, their former official residence in the UK.
The couple, who left the Royal Family nearly six months ago, have now transported all their belongings to their new home in Montecito, California.
This departure marks the end of an era for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, as Frogmore Cottage held a special place in their hearts.
Frogmore Cottage became the couple’s official UK residence after it was gifted to them by the late Queen Elizabeth II.
They made the move a few weeks before the birth of their son, Prince Archie, and have since cherished countless memories within its walls.

The cottage also holds significance as it is just around the corner from where they tied the knot in May 2018.
In his memoir, “Spare,” Prince Harry expressed his deep connection to Frogmore Cottage.
He described how he and Meghan moved their office to Buckingham Palace and settled into their new house.
However, Frogmore was different.
From the moment they arrived, Harry felt a sense of destiny about living there.
They eagerly anticipated waking up in the morning, taking long walks in the gardens, and admiring the swans, particularly the famously grumpy Steve.
The couple even took the time to get to know the Queen’s gardeners and learn the names of all the flowers, showering them with appreciation for their artistry.
Unfortunately, circumstances changed, and the couple received an eviction notice, prompting their departure from Frogmore Cottage.
Despite this, Prince Harry and Meghan have reached a special agreement with the monarch that allows them to stay in other royal residences during future visits to the UK.
This arrangement ensures that they won’t be dependent on family, friends, or hotels whenever they return.
As the Duke and Duchess of Sussex settle into their new life in California, they bid farewell to Frogmore Cottage, a place that held so many precious memories for them.
The move signifies a fresh chapter in their journey, one that is filled with new opportunities and challenges.
