Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, may cancel her plans to return to the UK for the Platinum Jubilee due to the backlash she received during her recent visit to Texas, according to royal expert Neil Sean.

This would be her first visit to the UK since stepping down as a senior royal in March 2020.

Mr. Sean, speaking on his YouTube channel, claimed that Meghan is aware of the public’s unfavorable opinion of her return, particularly in London and the surrounding areas.

The negative publicity from her visit to Texas could influence her decision to pull out of the trip.

This wouldn’t be the first time such a change of plans has occurred within the royal family.

Previously, Prince Harry returned for the unveiling of Princess Diana’s statue but later decided to stay away from Prince Philip’s memorial service due to security concerns.

During her visit to Texas, Meghan paid her respects at a memorial for the victims of a school shooting.

She was seen placing a bouquet of white roses tied with a purple ribbon at one of the crosses erected in honor of the victims.

A spokesperson for the Duchess stated that she made the trip in a personal capacity as a mother, offering condolences and support to a grieving community.

Meghan was photographed looking down at the white crosses bearing the names of the victims, specifically near the cross of 10-year-old Uzziah Garcia, which had the words “You Will Be Missed” written on it.

Accompanied solely by her baseball cap, T-shirt, jeans, and trainers, Meghan’s visit to the memorial sparked renewed pressure for her to reconcile with her father.

However, a royal expert, Duncan Larkham, expressed doubt about the possibility of a reunion, stating that the bridge between Meghan and her father has been burned.

Larkham referred to previous actions by Meghan’s father before her wedding, suggesting that his behavior was duplicitous.

In addition to these personal matters, there may be trouble brewing for Meghan and Harry’s multi-million dollar deals with Netflix and Spotify.

Richard Eden of the Daily Mail commented on the couple’s recent appearances at polo matches, noting that Meghan’s involvement in these events is unusual.

He recalled Meghan’s previous stance on polo matches, where she preferred Harry to participate only if it raised significant funds for charity.

Eden speculated that the couple’s frequent attendance at polo matches and Meghan’s trophy presentations may indicate underlying issues in their relationship.

Eden further suggested that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are struggling to maintain their star status, citing their changing plans and the uncertainty surrounding their projects, such as the development of Pearl and Harry’s upcoming memoir.

It seems that their path forward is uncertain and filled with challenges.

As Meghan Markle contemplates her return to the UK for the Platinum Jubilee, the negative publicity surrounding her recent visit to Texas has cast doubt on whether she will proceed with her plans.

The public’s perception, coupled with personal and professional challenges, has created a complex situation for the Duchess of Sussex.

Only time will tell if she ultimately decides to pull the plug on her UK return.
